For years my wife and I had heard Diplomat in Glendora was great but never had a chance to go there. When they opened one in La Verne, we knew we had to make our way there at some point. We brought my dad here for his birthday and everything was great. The servers were kind, the place was CLEAN, and most importantly, the food was really good. And all for a great price. There’s a lot of competition in La Verne with Middle Eastern food and they’re all great – you can’t go wrong with Diplomat. Their garlic is top notch, too.

Came back for another great experience here. Great service and amazing food. Order a combo for two. Beef, lule and chicken. Amazing flavors, everything fresh and just cooked there for us. Great hummus. Servers very attentive and place very clean. Everything you expect!!!

Falafel is one of the best I’ve tried so far. Crispy awesome. Meat was tasty, juicy and savory. 100! Service was great, owner very friendly.

We’ve ordered to go from here before, but this was our first time dining in. They did not disappoint! The filet kebabs were so tender, and the chicken and kafta kabobs were also very delicious! Also, you cannot eat here without trying their house made hummus! So delicious! I definitely recommend this place!

Diplomat is a clean and new Mediterranean restaurant with a modern decor. Staff are friendly and quick to make your visit enjoyable. My water glass was filled repeatedly during my visit. The food is fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. I shared an appetizer of humas, cumbers, and soft pita chips. Delicious! We also shared fried cheese with olives, greens, and pickled turnips. The plate was visually appealing and so yummy! I can’t wait to try other dishes that are new to me on my next visit.

Delicious cozy food and ambiance. Staff is friendly, portions are hearty and healthy. Been twice now. Absolutely in love with their Shawarma, falafel, saffron rice, and hummus. Quickly falling in love with Middle Eastern food. Makes my belly happy everytime. No heartburn, no guilt, no regret. The food makes me wake up energized next day. My wife and I will be lifers here for sure!

Really really tasty food.. prices felt about right for the portions, and the service was great. Had a few questions about the menu and our waiter was happy to help out.
My wife’s favorite genre of food is Mediterranean, which means we have tried EVERYWHERE! So glad this place opened up so close by, looks like we have a new favorite kabob spot.
