Loved my egg, bacon, provolone, sweet pepper, tomato and pesto mayo on sesame seed bread.
Eating in is not for a fancy date as the tables need cleaning. But an awesome spot for locals, who are food first and grab and go.

A million million stars…. I am blown away!!! My husband ALWAYS comes here for lunch as he works nearby. Literally a stones throw away, I’m so jealous he has such easy access to this local gem. So I knew when I was downtown this was my moment I finally get to try this goodness for myself. As soon as I walked in this awesome sub establishment, there was a lively buzz in the air. So many workers workin’ away slinging their sub skills, and it was really nice to see the dining area was alive with happy customers all munching away happily. Ever since Covid the businesses downtown have taken a serious toll (so disheartening) but seeing this happy busy moment inside this local treasure? It just really was such an uplift to my sub lovin’ soul.
Now- as to what I actually ordered and loved. THAT CHICKEN FRENCH SUB was out of this world amazing. I ordered a medium and omg, it was huge. As soon as they handed it to me I swear it was like I was in a gym, lifting a weight!! And of course I tell the workers how my husband always comes here and I was so excited and then they were so nice and welcoming.
It was an overall A+ experience. Do NOT sleep on this place. Come here to fulfill all your sub-tastic dreams. Great menu with fair prices and largest portions. They sure know how to pack a sub. The bread was the PERFECT consistency, was not soggy from the ingredients, is this magic bread from a magician? I do not know.
All’s I know is that I will be back. And I encourage you to do the same.

Ordered the large bisteca genovese, which was fantastic. Deliciously fresh, toasted herb bread, and absolutely loaded with steak meat. Seriously loaded with meat, like you’re visiting your momma on the weekend, and she thinks you’re not eating enough and going hungry type of loaded. I’m a large man, and even having skipped breakfast, I couldn’t finish a large sub. Which made eating the leftover quarter sub a couple hours later even better. You could easily get two meals out of a large sub. 10/10 would recommend.

Sadly in today’s world places like Dipisas are getting harder to come by. I found this gem of an establishment a couple years ago working downtown Rochester and the city is lucky to have them. Being a connoisseur of all things submarine sandwiches I can assure you that you WILL NOT find a better one ANYWHERE. Dosnt matter what you get as everything is beyond expectations. Hats of to Sal and his GREAT team (especially Amanda) for making our bellies full and satisfied. Be sure to order ahead or be there by 11:30-11:45 as they are usually lined up out the door at lunch hour.

Absolutely wonderful.
I came here to grab some lunch for my husband, ordered a large special steak sub, a cannoli and drink. The sub was way larger than expected! More than enough to feed 2-3 hungry people. Not to mention the mouth watering goodness we experienced from the first the last bites! It reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking. The cannoli was delicious as well.
The staff didnt fall short either. All smiles- super comfy atmosphere. I will most certainly be back.

Super well run, delicious sub place. Always impressed by the quality and quantity of food. Staff is wicked friendly too. A great place to pop in for take out, or eat in, sandwich lunch! They offer salads, sub specials, drinks and chips too.
