Classic Italian market offering wide range of beer, wine, liquor alongside some delicious sandwiches. I had the cheesesteak and it was very tasty but the sandwich was wrapped and folded so bad it essentially destroyed the sandwich. Besides that the pizza slices were yummy and had tasty pepperoni. Recommend trying this place out.

My wife and I recently visited Maine, which was a wonderful time. We ended our stay in Portland where we flew out of. This place happened to be a few minutes away from our Airbnb so we decided to stop and try it out for a quick lunch before some activities yesterday. Both of the sandwiches we got were absolutely outstanding. She had a salami and provolone, and I got the Italian sausage with mozzarella. We both agreed they were one of the best sub-style hot and cold sandwiches we have ever had. Mine was good enough that I ended up going back later in the evening and got the same sandwich, which was 100% as good as the first one from the same morning & she got a slice of cheese pizza which was also very very good. This is the first review I’ve ever given a place, so it is absolutely well earned on their part. If you want to grab a quick bite to eat from a cool little spot, absolutely give this place your time and money. If I am ever in Portland again, I know for a fact where I will be stopping.

Stopped in to pick up a late night dinner. Absolutely amazing prices for the quality and size of food you get. Ate the chicken parm sandwich, as well as tried their meatball sub and pepperoni pizza. Everything was delicious! All the workers were extremely friendly and happy to help in any way. Can’t recommend enough!

Always the best!! Pizza and Italian sandwichs always out match the place near Evans St! Better portions! Far better prices! And definitely better flavor!

Great Italian subs, chicken parmigiana sandwiches, pizza, and prepared pasta, salads, and foods. If you’re in a hurry you can stop in an grab cold penne or tortellini pasta or parmigiana (chicken or eggplant) items from their cooler and warm up at home. Also a liquor store.

Whenever I am in the area I try to stop in a grab a slice of pizza. The slices are a decent size, great price, and are very tasty as well. I’d recommend this location to everyone driving through this area who likes a easy and quick slice of pizza.

Wow. The steak, onion, pepper, and mushroom sandwich was great. Much more then I expected. They also had a great selection of items to choose from. The guy that made our sandwiches asked how they were after we finished them in the parking lot. We obviously said great. But messy. They definitely don’t skimp on the fillings.

I live 15 minutes away from this market but anytime I feel like an Italian sandwiches, I drive the distance to get the best bread you can get for a sandwich. I live very close to a chain sandwich shop in Scarborough but their bread isn’t even close to DiPietros. You won’t find a better italian sandwich anywhere!

I think this style of “Italian” is mostly unique to Maine. This particular sandwich is one of the best I’ve ever had – better than Amato’s.

Very tight quarters in this shop, wherever you are you’re in someone’s way. Decent prepared pasta salads and sandwiches, but expect to pay a lot for them. And if you’re expecting to buy a slice of pizza after 1 just go to Otto down the street.
