Dion’s restaurants are always clean no matter which restaurant you visit rather it’s in New Mexico, Texas, or Colorado.
The staff is just as outstanding, always friendly and attentive to your needs.
Can’t recommend Dion’s enough if you’re looking for great pizza, salad, or just a sub!
My issue with this location stems from the fact that, while they have a no soliciting policy clearly marked at their front counter, it is not properly enforced. At one time me and my friends regularly went here to get green chili pizza after college. We ate here for years without issue.
Anytime someone would try to come in to ask for money, they were asked to leave. That changed around 2015 or so, when several people around the city began using children to request money handouts for sports events. This was happening in several locations, and unfortunately one of those was at this Dions. The first few times it happened it wasn’t a huge deal, as we figured the sports event would end and the requests for donations would stop. When this went on for a full month with the same child and mother though, we began to realize it was just a way to get around the no soliciting policy. Eventually, we decided to go elsewhere as we started getting asked multiple times by this same duo for money, after saying no, and all we wanted to do was eat in peace. Hopefully this practice has since stopped.
