Mediocre, unfortunately. I got a medium cheese pizza and a side of penne in vodka sauce. The pizza barely has any sauce on it and has a generic cheese and dough taste, bland. Just a low effort pizza all around. There’s nothing that makes this pizza stand out.

The penne in vodka sauce is bizarre. Why would you put regular pasta sauce on top of it? At first I thought maybe they gave me the wrong item but no, the vodka sauce has the consistency of water and is all at the bottom. It’s kind of sour too. Probably from mixing regular pasta sauce with it. Overall a let down. Why is the Dino’s at the mall so much better than this one? They should be the same.

I recently ordered pizza and wedding soup from Dino’s Italian Bistro. They placed the wedding soup in a brown bag, and I was not able to see it prior to leaving. The wedding soup was $15 for a large container. When I arrived home I took the wedding soup out of the brown bag. The wedding soup looked old and was full of grease. The carrots and noodles were disintegrated. The soup only had a couple of meatballs inside it. I am not one to complain but for the price of the soup, I contacted the manager regarding it. The manager asked me how many meatballs were in the soup. He related there should be approximately twenty meatballs inside the large container of soup. I explained to him I was not able to give him an exact amount but it definitely was not twenty meatballs. The manager further related he had an individual at the restaurant who has his soup 4 out of 5 days. The manager put me on hold and acted like he was asking somebody how the wedding soup was. The manager told me
the individual said the soup was great! Shocker! I stated to the manager I am not one to complain but the soup was not good. The manager explained to me I was complaining and he would offer me a refund. The manager stated I would have to bring the soup back to his restaurant and he would need to see it. Due to time constraints I told the manager that was not possible due to prior obligations, and I have a picture of it. I asked the manager if i can just get a refund over the phone to my card. After further discussion regarding this $15 wedding soup the manager began to use the “F” word towards me and told me I am not welcomed back at his restaurant. I explained to the manager that was ok, and I would post the picture to a review for people to see how the soup looked.

I would not recommend this business due to the customer service and the poor quality of food. The pizza also looked and tasted old. I threw both of them out. The manager is in denial of his food. I understand people have bad days but to conduct yourself in the matter by cursing at someone over $15 soup is not normal.

I know there is some soup missing out of the container. I poured it into a small bowl to
mix the broth. Still no difference.

Good Afternoon,

Thanks for replying. As I explained before in my previous review I poured some of the soup in a small bowl to mix it. Unfortunately it made no difference and still had orange grease on the top of it. I can assure you that I did not have any of the soup because I did not want any stomach issues. Also, when pouring it into a a small bowl no noodles, carrots, or meatballs came out. It was just orange grease.

I would never expect a free meal from any business. That does not speak to my character or values. I never threatened you in any matter relating about getting my money back or I’ll post a review. When you came back on the phone and told me you see no issues with the soup. Also, either does your friend / customer. I explained to you I have a picture of it. I am not one to post a review, but I will not be cursed at or talked to in an unprofessional matter regarding wedding soup. If this occurred at any employment or professional business you would be terminated.

If I wanted a feee meal, I would have asked for my money back regarding the pizza. I did not mention the pizza due to your temperament regarding the wedding soup. I support many local and small businesses in the area and outside the area. I will not be supporting yours.

Thank You

This was mine and my husband second time here at this restaurant. Our first time there was a good experience. How our second time was absolutely awful, there was 1 person in line ordering when we got there and 3 or 4 other customers sitting and eating. We placed our outed at 510pm and ordered a ham and cheese strombolie with mozzarella stick for there. After 10 or 15 minutes a dinner rush of people came in and the place was full and hopping. As I looked around I realized everyone just about was served but my husband and I. So I went up and asked about it and they said 10 more minutes sorry for the wait. So we sat there for about 20 minutes and someone brought the mozzarella sticks to up half cooked and inside still cool. We were hungry so we said he’ll with it and ate them anyway, we still haven’t got out strombolie yet and 20 or 30 minutes passed so I went up again was told 10 more minutes. 20 minutes later we got a strombolie that was nicely browned on the outside and cold and cheese not melted on the inside. The server just placed it down on the table and said here’s your order and walked away. We didn’t get plates and 1 set of silverware. It really passed me off but I stayed calm and said whatever and ate some, then my husband got a box and we took rest home. Im not going to lie but even tho it wasn’t hot and cheese melted, it was still delicious. Unfortunately because of the service and being ignored for almost 2 hours before we got our food, we will not be going back there.

Finally tried the paninis today- had a Mediterranean Chicken, and it was fantastic. Chicken was grilled, feta was fresh, and the bread was their unique pizza dough. Def a get again, although I will try one of the other four models next as they all look delicious.

Good pizza and great mozzarella sticks and garlic knots. I wish their marinara sauce wasn’t so watered down but the flavor was good. I even tried their vegan pizza and it was decent as well especially considering it’s vegan, cheese was melty and had nice flavor. I liked their pinball machine it was very fun. Service was very accommodating and friendly.

My boyfriend got a cheese steak sub and I got a cauliflower pizza with a bunch of toppings. I was worried the pizza wouldn’t be up to par with it being cauliflower crust, but the chef(s) and staff really came through- it was so delicious! And quite beautiful as well we will be ordering again. The staff was very considerate when my boyfriend picked up our order (he had to wait for the cauliflower pizza). Thank you guys! P.S the price was very reasonable!!

Dino’s Italian Bistro on Memorial Highway is your one-stop shop that will satisfy your pasta, pizza, and hoagie cravings, plus much more. The establishment is versatile to one’s needs, whether it be a quick piece of lasagna to go, or sit down with family and friends for some pizza in a cozy environment. The staff is pleasant, the restaurant is clean, and the food – at least the pizza – is very good.

We arrived during the tail end of a winter storm on a Friday night, so we had the entire dining room to ourselves for most of our visit. We ordered an extra large, News York-style pizza, half with pepperoni and onions, and half with sweet peppers and mushrooms. While waiting for our pizza, we sat down, conversed, and sipped on our fountain sodas.

The pizza arrived nice and hot, with plenty of our preferred toppings, each slice evenly cut into large slices, the melted cheese tugging back as we pulled it away from the metal tray and onto our paper plates. The pizza is still as good as I remember it during my trips to their shop at the local mall, which still exists.

Dino’s isn’t what I would call a cozy place, but it is comfortable enough, with paintings of what appeared to be Italian landscapes and settings adorning the walls, mixed in with pictures of your standard Italian dishes. In one corner, across the room from a pinball machine, stood a Betty Boop statue holding a tray with a lone goblet. Throughout the bistro, pop music softly played in the background.

As I mentioned above, Dino’s has a diverse menu of dishes, with salads and appetizers thrown in the mix. Hours vary, so it may be prudent to call in advance if you’d wish to dine in, or check in after shopping the stores of the strip mall where this place is located.

I had a take out order and didn’t realize until I got home that they forgot to give me the vodka pasta I ordered. I called the restaurant and was told the boss would call me back tomorrow. I still haven’t received a call. The chicken parm I got was so thin and tough, I ended up just eating the breadstick for dinner. The quality was whatever, but really all I want is a refund from the food I did not receive.
