I stopped into Dini’s Martinis and Desserts in Swansboro and honestly — it is exactly the kind of place you hope to find in a small coastal town. Cozy, welcoming, and full of personality. It is locally loved.
The martinis were the real standout. Not just pretty drinks — they were balanced, flavorful, and clearly made by someone who knows what they’re doing. You’re not getting watered-down bar pours here. These are legit craft cocktails. I had one that I would absolutely order again without hesitation.
And let’s talk about the desserts — because they are not an afterthought. Rich, indulgent, and the perfect way to end the night. It’s rare to find a place that does both cocktails and sweets this well.
The atmosphere feels intimate and relaxed, but still fun. The staff was friendly and attentive without hovering. It felt like one of those places where you could easily become a regular.

What a great place in downtown Swansboro. On recommendations from a family member, we got there right when it opened. I ordered the Chai Tini, and my wife ordered the Carmel Chocolate Martini. Excellent!!! We all ordered flatbread with chicken, chicken and ranch, and meatball. Incredible flavor and fresh ingredients. The pesto and beer mustard offered such a variety of tastes.
The atmosphere and decor are unique. To a degree, you feel as though you have stepped back in time. Great feel to this cozy Martini bar.
Shout out to the bartender and co-owner Emily did an outstanding job. Whitney, our server, was so kind, informative, and attentive. Finally, Bergen, the chef, did an awesome job preparing our meals. Shout out to Bergen, who is still in high school. All 3 deserve kudos for a great experience.

This bar is fun, cool, and has an incredible history. The drinks were top notch, and the flat bread was delectable. The ambience is so warm and welcoming. The staff were great at their jobs and their customer service was incredible. I immediately felt like a part of the community who’d been a regular for years on my first visit. It definitely won’t be my last!

Service was very slow. And the host had her fingers in her mouth chewing on her fingernails for the entire 30 minutes I spent in there and she kept seating people and grabbing the menus with her saliva covered fingers. If that’s the poor cleanliness at the front entrance I can only imagine what the cleanliness of the places we cannot see is like.

I can’t express how excited my boyfriend and I are to have found this place! We will definitely be returning any chance we get! Every drink we had was delicious and our server, Whitney, was a fun loving character who made our experience even more enjoyable! 10 out of 5 stars!!

Really fun hidden gem! Has everything you need for food and desserts for family. There’s delicious drinks for late night hours and fun activities like song bingo! Reserve ahead of time for events. The TVs have all a variety of options. The bartenders are very quick!

Highly recommended! First time visiting and I’m so happy I did. The panini’s are delicious, their ranch is out of this world. The pretzels with beer cheese and mustard were so good and fresh, and let me tell you about that cookie skillet with ice cream… WOWZAH! It was absolutely fantastic. Great customer service as well, I will definitely be coming back soon to try their martinis! 10/10

This place is amazing and does not disappoint. Their menu is mostly made up of drinks and Desserts. There are a few savory options. We tried the caprese flatbread and Mac ‘n cheese. Both were delicious. We had the peanut butter cup martini and the cha chai tini – oh my goodness! We also enjoyed the bourbon pecan pie and talk about tantalizing the taste buds – delicious. The decor is kind of Gothic especially with the Halloween decorations. There is the best fireplace!

Wow! There was nothing negative about our experience. In fact, I stopped eating and drinking to write this review. We had two different mules, a southern and Carolina Blue and they were both delicious!
The Chicken Bacon Ranch flatbread was awesome!
The staff is friendly and very attentive! They have the bar from the Lexington Hotel of downtown Chicago, a place that Al Capone frequent. We were shown the bullet holes and cigarette burns in the bar! Our water glasses were always full, and the staff made suggestions about our order and they were on point!
We are going to stay for dessert!

Dini’s Martin’s is about the hype!!! This is the place to go in a rustic town. The food is phenomenal, the drinks are tasty and I’m about to dive into their Creme Brulee Cheesecake, which looks absolutely to die for! Ya know, since it’s Halloween and everything! Oh, and the Cha Chai Tini? The Mocha Coco! They literally chocolate drew a bat on top of it. I would have taken a picture but it was so fang sinking, I had it down in one fell swoop! Also, their Caprese Flatbread is a morsel to sink your teeth into. Truly.
