We ordered takeout and had a really good experience. The sushi tray and fried chicken noodles were both delicious and full of flavour. It was a bit on the expensive side, but the quality and taste of the food made it worth it. The restaurant itself was also very cute, which made us want to dine in next time. Overall, great food and we’d happily order again.

Food was ok, just as what you would expect. The ramen portion is small, even with extra noodle. The spicy hotpot is awesome. Unlike authentic Japanese, it gets very spicy, but tastes great.

I am a local resident. Food portion is quite small based upon the price point. Pictured is a $12.50 item. Product is ok but, nothing to write home about. Restaurant decor is very generic and based upon 2000’s, although, food is always the most important criteria of overall consideration in terms of food. The restaurant is in a hotel and price point does cater to our wonderful tourism audience that will dine in on only 1 or 2 visits. Overall, a 3 star rating. This restaurant has potential to be a higher rating with additional effort. Note: Take out is available.

Ordered chicken katsu and it says it comes with carrots potatoes and onions. Asked the server if it comes with carrots and the server wasnt sure, asked the kitchen and came back and said yes it comes with it. No carrot in sight except for this small sliver (pictured.) The potatoes were also cut into very small pieces so you have to dig through the sauce to find it. All of that for $20.
Ordered sushi as well and it came with kraft single cheese. Such a weird combo ive never heard of that… The sushi rice was also not seasoned so it was sooo bland. Dont know where this place got its ratings from. Definitely not worth it.

Soo so good! Tonkatsu ramen’s flavourful and the chashu pork is tender! The takoyaki and aburi salmon roll were also perfect. Their portions were quite big/many so it was very fulfilling.
The staff was also friendly and the place is clean and nice (love the Japanese paintings and anime postetd and figurines!!)
Update: went back for Shoyu Ramen and unfortunately that one has very light flavour. But the rest was just as good.

Got tempted by the pictures of the sukiyaki which was suited for the cold of the Rockies. It tasted ok but the beef was too chewy which we could not even finish. The saving grace was the takoyaki and the aburi salmon sushi.

We ordered the spicy tantan and shoyu pork ramen dishes. And wow. Was probably the best ramen dish I’ve had to date. Despite what some of the reviews have said, both of our broths were creamy, rich and flavourful. Each of our eggs tasted delicious and a nice medium/soft yolk. Tender pork. While Im not sure the noodles are made in house or not, I don’t even care, they were still good. All in all a very great dish, large portions and reasonably priced. Had the creme brulee for dessert, very creamy and fresh tasting. Our service was top notch, very friendly and attentive waitress. I enjoyed the cute esthetic of the restaurant, not in your face fancy. I don’t often leave reviews, but this lovely restaurant definitely needed a good one

Atmosphere was cute. They have a special corner with cutie Japanese cartoon displays.
Dishes were presented delicately, with generous portion, enough to share with my friends. Their price was decent too!
Their staffs were very friendly. Overall, I feel welcome and happy to dine in here!

This restaurant is very cute! We walked in and were transported to a lucky cat/anime heaven. The food was very delicious, the sushi platters are very uniquely presented, the Japanese pops are very yummy and meal sizes are enough for two people to share. Also my mother in-law was very impressed with the kitchen re-doing her dish with no onions after the first dish had onions. Staff is very friendly, overall good spirits, highly recommended☺️

The food is incredible. We’ve enjoyed every thing we had here. We ate here several times during our stay in Canmore. Each time the dishes were presented so beautifully, I forgot to take pictures. My favorite is the sukiyaki. It’s delivered to your table on a tabletop stove, so fun. The ambiance is adorable. There were 4 of us and we took turns ordering different things off of the menu. We’ve had it all. It’s all good.
