Even more so than the food at Bagaicha (which was very good) I appreciate the genuine customer centricity and focus, and the sincerity with which they place the customers needs even above their own. Binay, in particular, and Raju deserve special mention. We took takeout from Bagaicha in early 2026 and left an important backpack at the restaurant even as we travelled to Ooty over an hour away. It was either we lost the bag or find some way of collecting it at an ungodly hour on our way back to Coimbatore. Like a consummate professional and a true humanitarian with kindness and selfless service, Binay coordinated to have his staff at the restaurant at the time we were passing by so we could pick it up. Thank you Binay and Raju! Bagaicha and you now are a special place for us.

Usual place to go to when eating out at Coonoor. Good food. Though the restaurant offers Indian, Chinese, Thai, Italian, we normally stick with Chinese. Recommended to reserve a table if the group is big.

Every year I visit Ooty I will visit Bagaicha aleast to have the hot & sour soup. The food, ambiance, hospitality everything is awesome & same how it was for the first time I visited 10years back. Must visit restaurant!

Resplendent Experiences
A neat and cozy place but the food they served us was just crap. We ordered Sizzler’s and the servers us boiled chicken coated with batter, just like chilly chicken.
Pepper chicken was just ok but the quality was very low for the price they have tagged for it.
For 3 person the total bill was ₹2150 which was ok if the any of the food we ordered gave atleast a percent of joy for our taste buds…

This place exceeded my expectations.
The people running the restaurant were very professional. Ambience was simple but lovely, and tables were set like fine dining. Food presentation was top notch.
They serve multicultural cuisines.
Laksa kai soup was so soothing with the coconut milk and veggies.
Veg manchow soup was lil spicy and fried noodles added some crunch.
Paneer heaven style was good but I felt the rawness/pungent of the tomato sauce still.
Fish fingers was the average dish of order which felt insipid.
BBQ chicken had red chilli flavour and some tanginess. Chicken was succulent too.
Pad thai veg was most loved dish of our order. Noodles was so soft and flavourful with loads of veggies.
Prices were quite high but justified for what’s on offer.

Very good food and excellent polite service. We ordered veg manchow and lemon coriander soup; paneer 65, masala papad and veg seekh as starters and hariyali kofta, kadai veg with roti and garlic naan with dal makhani and rice for mains…dessert was gulab jamun and date pancake with strawberry ice cream… everything was very tasty and amazing..highly recommend this place and the hariyali kofta and date pancake for sure
