Dim Sum Terminal—what a hidden gem! My dad lives around the corner and I can’t believe I didn’t know this place existed. Honestly, I’m a little upset at myself for missing out all this time.

Tucked away in a strip mall with plenty of parking, this cozy, well-lit spot feels like a delicious secret. We were greeted by Oliver, who let us in on the best part—it’s family-owned. Chef Lola runs the kitchen with love, Katherine makes the desserts, and every dumpling is handmade fresh in-house.

The star of the night? The spicy wontons. I’ve never had anything like them before, and now I can’t stop thinking about them. They’ve officially ruined me for all other wontons. Just go ahead and take my money—I’m a loyal customer for life.

And here’s the pro tip: save room for Katherine’s macarons. She puts a French patisserie to shame. Light, crisp, chewy perfection.

Thank you for sharing your craft with us—we truly felt the love in every bite. Fresh dumplings, unforgettable flavors, and desserts worth writing home about… I love DIM SUM TERMINAL.

This Family owned and operated restaurant is a must! The soup dumplings were delicate and bursting with flavor. The heat level of the chili oil wontons was sublime. The noodles, the rice, the soup were all prepared fresh and served piping hot. Save room for their in-house made macaroons.

Great dimsum place that recently opened up. Family ran and our waiter was so nice. The duck bao buns and soup dumplings were our favorite meal items but the dessert was an unexpected surprise. We aren’t typically huge macaroon lovers but these are exceptionally good. Not your typical macaroon. Our waiter said his sister makes all of them and they were just absolutely delightful. We regret not trying more flavors!

A little resturant with a great menu. We went for the dim sum. COMING from NY we do not hold our expectations high. But it was a small menu for dim.sun and it was good.

The have a self serving robot very ingenious. The waitress was very respectful and courteous and we were pleasantly pleased. They do NOT come around with the carts like n NY. You order from a menu. There are pictures and they waitress also has a tablet with pictures.

The food was actually good but very limited in the dim sum department. The prices were also good. There is plenty of parking in the front but it is metered.

They do have other things to eat and the menu is nice.

Homemade Dumplings Done Right!

These homemade dumplings were chef’s kiss! Perfectly pan-fried with that golden, crispy lace on the bottom—exactly how dumplings should enter a room. The filling was juicy and flavorful, clearly made with care (and probably some family secret seasoning). Each one had a tag, which made it fun and organized—“Mala Chicken,” “DST Chicken,” and more—like a dumpling sampler that came with its own personality.

And let’s talk about dessert—because yes, we went all out. This adorable box of homemade treats was packed with colorful, beautifully piped sweets that looked straight out of a bakery window. Each one wrapped individually, like edible gifts of joy. Honestly, it felt like unwrapping happiness.

Homemade food just hits different. This meal? Made with love and it showed in every bite.

It’s a cool place but I expected a lot more from the dumplings here.. they are pretty small in size compared to serious dumplings in coral springs as well as other dumpling places. The soup dumplings were decent but the pan fried spicy beef dumplings and chicken dumplings could definitely use a kick up in flavor

Stopped into Dim Sum Terminal on a Friday night and just beat the crowd. From start to finish, this place delivered an absolutely top-tier experience. The food…Phenomenal. The service…Spot on!

We asked for a few recommendations to get started and were pointed toward the spicy edamame and crab & cheese dumplings. That edamame seasoning is next-level addictive.

Then came the dim sum lineup. Wagyu beef & truffle dumplings…unreal! Rich & savory! Next up, Spicy mala chicken dumplings, packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat. Followed that up with the Korean spicy pork dumplings, another winner!

We also tried the Duck Bun, super tasty and finished by splitting the sweet & sour chicken entree, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The dish had so much flavor, it really surprised us in the best way.

Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. The staff timed each dish perfectly and never felt rushed or waiting too long.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Great vibe and killer food!! Already planning my next visit.

Must try if you want an authentic Chinese dim sum experience that you can taste the love in every bite. Flavorful, fresh and tasty to say the least. These are the local businesses that truly deserve your support. I tried the pork soup dumplings, pan fried chicken curry dumplings, shrimp dumplings, duck bao bun, veggie fried rice and the pork & corn(I think it was corn but it was def pork) bun. This is my ideal comfort food cause as much variety I had I felt like my soul was fed as much as my stomach. I didn’t feel gross after cause everything was cooked to perfection & not over used with oil. The veggie fried rice was the most surprisingly good cause of the flavors seemed lighter than the usual fried rice I’m used to. I think it’s cause they use corn too to balance it out but I’m guessing. Last but not least, their macaroons are to die for! So unique and rich & creamy, the appropriate amount of sweet & decadent. I’m coming back to try everything else asap! Immediately became one of my fave new north Lauderdale by the sea spots!

If you can’t tell by the final picture… We all absolutely loved Dim Sum Terminal our first time eating here! There was not a dish that wasn’t finished, nor a plate was found with any food left on it. Honestly, LBTS needed a place like this to stand out where the food speaks for itself. The crispy mushrooms were the vegetarian version of fried calamari and the sweet chilli sauce that it comes with sets it off. The duck buns, pan fried signature pork dumplings, stir fried peking pork, and BBQ pork buns were all delicious. All the sauces are made in house…and yes, you can immediately tell the difference. Even the macaroon, which happened to be the tiramisu flavor was worth trying. They don’t have their license for beer yet but it is coming. Such a great first experience so I’m thinking of rating them 4.7 stars for sure! Try em out and you’ll be happy too
