This was such a fantastic experience! We didn’t realize it was only Day 2 of the new restaurant part, but this place was special right away. The staff are kind, the space is cozy, and it smelled like good food. I love the family style option, and every single course was delicious. The portions were SLIGHTLY too big for my mom and I, but I wouldn’t have minded if I could’ve taken the leftovers (was heading to the airport). The mozzarella was fresh and warm. The bucatini to die for. Every dish was light. The rainbow trout is unique and crispy. It was an all-around amazing meal. And honestly, really well-priced for the quality of the meal.

Very cool atmosphere inside. High ceilings, dark wood, large bar counter all create a classic style.
I shared the Hot Italian and cold Italian (different ingredients) with a friend of mine. They were both delicious and on house made fresh baked bread with sesame seeds. It seems like the menu here may change often, as we came in for the massive French Dip that was no longer available. I’d gladly come here again. It is pricy but very tasty and definitely filling!

Did not disappoint and can’t wait to eat here again. We had the pork raab sandwich, the open face, slice of pepperoni and kale salad. Everything was made with fresh quality ingredients. Portion size was good. Pork raab sandwich had thin sliced meat so easier to eat with the perfect hatch green chile spice! Their pizza is yum and had that nice crisp you’d want from a NY slice!

Amazing family style meal! The take picks one dish from each category and they bring them out for every one to share. All of the dishes we had were delicious and perfectly seasoned. There was so much food!!!
The staff was super friendly and helpful. This place is sure to become a staple in the Portland food scene. Chef Doug is doing amazing things here!

What an amazing sub. It was between the Italian or the chicken Caesar sandwich and we split the Italian. It was fantastic. Great balance of bread to filling and the bread had the perfect toast on it with a nice crunch when you bit into it. I would eat this again and again. Just don’t stand in the walkway, we got yelled at for some reason instead of just politely asking.

Finally, I have found a grinder that does the east coast justice! As a RI native, I have yet to find a grindahh that comes anywhere near East Coast quality. The Italian grinder at Dimo’s will now be a food craving of mine! Crunchy, yet chewy bread crusted in sesame seeds, shredded lettuce, a little spice from some hot peppers, Italian meats, a little herb vinaigrette and aioli- the most perfect bite one could ask for. Also, tried one of their pastries, equally as delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive, the inside had old Portland charm and character. Seriously, can’t wait to come back, probably be by next week

I really enjoyed the Italian Grinder and Sicilian pizza. Both delicious and a lot of food. Great space and sunny patio. Friendly service.

To start off I don’t leave reviews often only if the establishments suck or they are 5 stars go look at my reviews enough said.
Anyway, this place was 5 stars the molment I took the second bite. Spicy eggplant parma was on point. The bread was not to stiff and it was chewy making the sandwich hold up perfectly. The sauce cheese and everything else including the eggplant was fresh and the texture was right. We also got the dulce vita sweet sandwich which was polar oposite but worked so well. It was sweet ,not savory yet it was like the perfect balance where you still feel satisfied. Our order was delivery so I can’t say much about the atmosphere or staff but they def no what there doing when making this food.

The freshness really stands out here. One of the best sammies I’ve had in the PNW – same goes for the pizza pie! A must

They have the best Italian sandwiches on the planet. I wish I took a picture of the Italian grinder, but oh well, it was amazing. Really, the basic Italian grinder here is sandwiches in Portland.
Update, today I had the Philly cheesesteak, which was delicious but I think I prefer the other sandwiches. The cheesesteak had so much caramelization on the meat and the onions that it was a bit a one note umami bomb. They do have some optional spicy pickled peppers that you can add which I would do next time.
The photo is an old photo from one of their Burger week events. It was awesome.
