The catered food I ordered for NYE was amazing and delicious. Even ordering it the day before and once warmed up, it taste as if I was just made. The quantity and price was exceptional. For catering needs of some delicious Puerto Rican food definitely a must! Thank you!

Service was great Unfortunately my alcapurria was too large which made it look good but it not as tasty as I hoped. The meat was stale as though it had been cooked days before. The bacalaito was tasty but mostly dough with very little if any bacalao. Tonight I will eat the rest of my order. Praying it will be better than my disappointment from this morning. The food is a little dear for a food truck but I don’t mind if and when the food is worth it!

Update.
As promised I ate the pastel which was very good It was packed with pork which could have used a little more sazon but it was still good. The crab empanadilla was absolutely out of this world good.
I will give it another try in the future!
Thanks for getting back to me.

Just Because You Rock the Flag Doesn’t Mean You Cook Like the Island
First and last time eating here. I ordered pork pinchos with BBQ sauce—they forgot the sauce. The pinchos tasted like basura. The tostones with garlic were basic—nothing you can’t get at any random spot. And the alcapurrias? Way too salty, and didn’t even come close to the authentic Puerto Rican flavor I grew up with.
Let’s be real: just because your food truck is wrapped in a Puerto Rican flag doesn’t mean your food represents the island. Down here in Florida, especially South Florida, it’s sad how hard it is to find true authentic Puerto Rican food. These folks use the flag as a gimmick to attract customers—but the flavor isn’t there.
I’m from Puerto Rico. I know what real Puerto Rican food tastes like. This ain’t it.
If you want something even remotely close to the real thing, Casa Borinquen in Hollywood, FL is the only place that has ever come close. Even the Miami spots that claim authenticity can’t touch them.
Not hating—just keeping it real. Authenticity. Consistency. Flavor. That’s what matters.

Dimelo Papi Pinchos food truck offers an unforgettable taste of Puerto Rico in Tamarac, FL. Founded by Angel Torres, this mobile kitchen started as a humble farmers market stall and has blossomed into a beloved spot for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. The star of the menu is undoubtedly the juicy pinchos, skewers of marinated meat grilled to perfection. Each bite bursts with flavor, embodying the essence of street food. The truck also serves frituras like crispy bacalaitos and beefy alcapurrias that are perfect for snacking.
For those craving heartier options, the slow-roasted pernil and garlicky carne frita deliver comfort food at its finest. Paired with sides like mofongo and arroz con gandules, you’re guaranteed a satisfying meal. Don’t miss the pastelillos, stuffed with crab, beef and cheese, or even pizza filling—they’re a fan favorite for a reason. What sets Dimelo Papi apart is the friendly atmosphere and commitment to showcasing Puerto Rican culture and flavors. Whether you’re a local or passing through, this food truck is a vibrant representation of Puerto Rican pride and a must-try for food lovers in the

A Flavorful Journey at Dímelo Papi Pinchos!

I had the pleasure of dining at Dímelo Papi Pinchos, the authentic Puerto Rican food truck , yesterday. This review is a testament to the exceptional experience I had.

First off, let me highlight their incredible customer service. I placed my order for empanadilla de pizza, alcapurrias, arroz con gandules, and both chicken and pork pinchos via Instagram, specifying that I’d pick it up in 45 minutes. Remarkably, my meal was ready right on time.

Now, let’s talk about the stars of the show. The pork pinchos were a delightful savory treat, but it was the alcapurria that truly stole the spotlight. The burst of flavors in every bite was unparalleled, and I couldn’t get enough of it. A must-try!

In summary, my visit to Dímelo Papi Pinchos was an absolute delight. With prompt service, a mouthwatering menu, and the unforgettable alcapurria, this place deserves a resounding 100% recommendation. If you’re looking for an authentic Puerto Rican culinary experience, this is the place to be.

We have been to a few Puerto Rican food trucks and hands-down this was the best food we have ever ordered. I felt like we were back at P.R. and my grandmother’ s cooking. Definitely going back again!

I was looking for authentic Latin/Puerto Rican food for an event and happened to find Dimelo Papi Pinchos on IG. I reached out to get some of the items I needed catered. I will say from start to finish it was GREAT SERVICE. We had arroz con gandules and both beef & chicken empandas catered. The food was ready on time and OMG it was a hit at the party. So tasteful and full of flavor. The guests all wanted seconds to take home to eat as leftovers…. and I am glad I ordered 2 pans. Will be using them again for any other family functions and parties. If I could give 10 starts I would!
