I’ve lived here 25 years and recently rediscovered DiMaggios.
It remains a gem. Possibly the best burgers in the county now; phenomenal pizza – and the service is great.

I ordered a veggie large pizza for takeout and it was my first time to order here I’m from Chicago. The pizza tasted very watery. It was burned. I wasn’t very happy about it. The pizza absolutely tasted horrible. DO NOT ORDER THE PIZZA HERE!

My husband’s family has been customers of DiMaggio’s for over 35 years. The food has always been good, and honestly that’s the only reason people continue to go. Everyone local knows the service is awful. It isn’t a secret. The servers roll their eyes, act annoyed, and make customers feel like an inconvenience just for being there.
Larger parties are especially unwelcome, which is surprising and disappointing for a long-established family restaurant in our community. There is no sense of hospitality and no effort to make guests feel appreciated.
Despite our desire to support local and our decades of loyalty, the service has made it so we will not dine in anymore. Even take-out orders come with attitude.

Hadn’t had pizza here in many years… thought we’d try it tonight. Big mistake.
Pizza is now in the trash where it belongs. So awful we didn’t even want the dogs to accidentally eat it. Completely burned, crust and toppings both…horrible taste…probably the worst pizza we’ve had. And we eat a lot of pizza. How does this place even stay in business? We’ll never make the mistake of going here again.

Stopped for dinner. We were each going to order a plate of pasta, but our server recommended adding the best ever meatballs and perhaps going with a half order. Great suggestion. The meatballs were good although maybe a little overpromised, and a half order was just the right size unless you’re a teenager or you want leftovers.
They were quite busy, and our waitress even busier. She managed to get our order out in 20 minutes. We didn’t get drinks refilled, which wasn’t surprising given the busyness.
Another downside of the busyness was the noise level. With no music whatsoever, it was almost painfully loud inside the dining room, and we had trouble hearing each other.
Prices are very reasonable, and I would come back…if it’s not busy.

DiMaggios Pizza and Burgers is a very pleasant place to eat. Cash and checks only – no credit cards. However, they do have an ATM. The restaurant is well appointed with electric outlets at the tables and bar stools. Service was attentive and friendly. Food a bit disappointing. DiMaggio’s Pizza and Burgers will always be my space for good diner type food. I rode in looking for a good sandwich. 7 miles from Bemton Harbor, in Coloma, sits a beautiful place that has an old-school feel. I had to try it.
The service is top-notch! There was one waitress that rocked the house. She was on top of her tasks and made sure she was intentionally to make sure you were served. There were no mistakes made.
The atmosphere appeared to draw in seniors as the restaurant appeared dated. Although things were vintage, it worked for this restaurant! The menu stated they have been serving the community for over 66 years! So neat! They only forms of payment they take are cash and checks.
The food is so delicious. The pizza looks incredible, but I had the double cheese Burger. It tasted homemade, and it was so delicious and juicy! Although they didn’t have fries, the chips made for a nice touch. The food was simple but very delicious ! All in all, it’s a great space for a lunch or family getaway.

The worst “Pizza” experience I’ve ever had ! The food was terrible, waited 30 minutes for overpriced salad with 7 carrot pieces and overpriced cold cut plate ! They made a scene about Free refills after I asked for my third cup of Pepsi . I’ve got threatened and almost got kicked out of the place because of my water jug that was right next to me ! Never going back in this Town and that place again because of those people !!!! Thanks a lot Di Maggio’s !!!!

I have not been in a while- used to come all the time, and thought I would get pizza and garlic cheese bread. I was VERY disappointed.. The pizza had no flavor was burnt and bottom was like card board, I love pizza sauce this pizza had it all one side-dont know what happened. And let’s not forget the garlic cheese bread. I have NEVER had cheese bread like this at any pizza place- they took a sub bread cut it down the middle and sprinkled garlic powder on it and very little cheese. Never going back.!!! AND they only take cash, —- shady. (Did not eat)
