A couple weeks later I came back for delivery service. Placed the order (on Dim Sum’s website) before opening and I will say, delivered to perfection. Previously I’d posted 4/5 Service stars for the delay in the pickup time, corrected today for 5/5. Not to mention that the food is wonderful, I didn’t quite care for the Dan Dan noodles w Chili Peanut Sauce. These were dry and powdery rather than saucy. But everything else was great.
The lunch specials are gold for anyone looking to order ahead and have your lunch delivered just before lunchtime at the office. My favorite dish is the Eggplant in spicy garlic sauce. Perfect portion (for me I like a little extra rice to take some heat off).
Would like to see Thai iced tea on the menu but I went for the Vietnamese iced coffee and it is strong to keep you going through the afternoon!
Dumplings were good. Order the right menu.
Stay away from any of the soups/ramens, the broth is exactly the same flavorless base for every soup.
I got the worst thing I’ve ever ordered at a restaurant: Tom Kha Seafood Soup, it was supposed to be spicy but it was just sweet with no flavor at all. Nothing like any other Asian spicy seafood soups I’ve had before, lacking any normal amount of seafood (hardly any), and weird uncooked veggies, like huge sliced raw tomato bits. I ate the small amount of seafood out of it and left the rest. It was hardly edible.
The scallion pancakes were also the most underwhelming I’ve ever had. I usually fight for the last piece but me and my boyfriend left half of it uneaten. No flavor or crisp.
The soup dumplings were the only good thing we ordered and they were just fine, nothing amazing. Additionally, there was a small amount of them to our order. The Vietnamese beef soup was ok but very below average, nothing good that I’d recommend ordering, same bland broth.
I really wanted to like this place and I usually never give out one star reviews, but it was truly bad. Small amounts of bad food for a price you could get much better things elsewhere. I’d rather have gone to Wawa than gone here (and I did after because I was still hungry).
Now, let’s talk about the food. The menu offered a wide variety of dim sum and noodle dishes, each bursting with delicious flavors. I couldn’t resist trying a little bit of everything, and I was not disappointed. The dim sum was steamed to perfection, with delicate wrappers and flavorful fillings that left me craving for more. The noodles were cooked al dente and paired perfectly with the savory sauces and toppings.
What really stood out to me was the quality of the ingredients used in every dish. It was evident that the chefs took great care in sourcing fresh and high-quality ingredients, resulting in dishes that were not only delicious but also nutritious.
Lastly, I have to commend the service at “Dim sum & Noodle.” The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and provided great recommendations based on my preferences. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish.
Overall, I would highly recommend “Dim sum & Noodle” to anyone looking for an incredible dining experience. The combination of delectable dishes, friendly service, and inviting ambiance make it a standout restaurant in the area. Whether you’re a fan of dim sum or noodles, or simply looking for a new culinary adventure, this is definitely a place worth checking out. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
Food was good. Service was quick and efficient. We had ramen noodle with BBQ pork, some sui mai, Shanghai juicy buns, and fried dumplings. We enjoyed every dish.
