Great little spot,

We went here and were seated quickly. Very clean and well decorated. The menu was large and with many different options. We ordered the spicy beef noodle soup which was actually pretty spicy, Dan Dan noodles and the wonton noodle soup.

The portions were big and the food tasted great, everything was hot and the food was priced fairly for how good it was and how large the portions were.

This place has a fraction of the reviews Nan Xiang soup dumplings does but the food is better in my opinion. This place for sure deserves more recognition.

We will definitely be coming back!

We went there for lunch. Eight people, my stepmother ordered a lot of food. The owner couple were quite pleasant. The staff were nice. Every dish was good as a cuisine from northeastern area of China, except the Peking duck. We all liked the Yuzi Tofu a lot. The portions were generous. We will go there again.

Great spot for Asian food. The dumplings were great and the menu was really expansive. Lots of options. The ambience of the restaurant was also amazing. Overall great experience.

We had a great time here having diner as a party of 8. Our waitress had a bit of a hard time putting in the order, but everything else was great!

The food is decent but a bit on the expensive side. Portion was pretty decent, and they have a wide variety of Chinese/Szechuan dishes. Definitely recommend to try if in the area!

The menu looked so good, we ordered a ton just to try stuff. I’d say 3.5 stars is more accurate, but we will try again, maybe takout next time. The service definitely went downhill once it started to get busy. Staff was very friendly. Some items were bland or super salty, but I expected with the cuisine. The place was definitely affordable, especially these days.

This place was so cute!! I was excited to try this place out. The shang hi noodles were delicious. Would skip out on the garlic pork soup dumplings, kimchi fried rice, and pan fried dumplings honestly. I had better elsewhere… Definitely try the iced lychee tea, very refreshing. The waiters were so nice and attentive. Good photo ops too.

Update: went back and tried new things and was … Not as good gotta really pick the right things, their lo bac go turnip cake had absolutely no turnip, the signature noodle soup was pretty bland and the meat super tough, the meatball bok choy soup was also really bland and a let down. My parents were pretty sad and we won’t be back for a while.. so definitely pick the right things like the pan fried bun and cha siu bao! Would recommend they reduce some of the selection and focusing on standout items :/

Original review:
GUYS so I thought this was some fusion place BUT IT ACTUALLY IS THE MOST AUTHENTIC CANTONESE **DIM SUM** IN THE ENTIRE AREA HOLY SHIT I was so blown away!!!

I’ve been to Nan xiang and their soup dumplings are great but they can’t really do like stir fried food super well, dim sum court in oaks their soup dumplings are also good but they don’t pan fry their dumplings enough, Dim sum mania is good too, but not exactly cantonese dim sum more shanghainese. But my mom who is from Hong Kong and me really really enjoyed this place which can do both!! My dad who got leftovers said “it’s like I’m back in Hong Kong” Definitely so underrated and you gotta go!!!

The Cha siu bao is not food colored and a really rich delicious bao, crispy eggplant was amazing- so soft inside so crispy on outside, har gow had a beautiful lustrous perfectly chewy and plump filling, they’ve turnip cake which is rare!! And their pan fried shanghainese dumpling??? Incredible. The skin was nicely thick but not doughy, really REALLY crispy like how it should be!!

And the interior is delightfully Chinese architecture style. Also our server was hilarious and was talking in canto to us. Ugh seriously new favorite place don’t sleep on it, social almost made me think it was another semi-mid place leaning into the soup dumpling craze but it’s not!!!

Also they even ask if you want cold or hot water, which I really appreciate as someone who always drinks hot water and if you know Chinese people don’t drink ice water as much!!

If you wanna experience real dim sum, this is it.

Don’t let the price of the food discourage you from trying it out because it will be worth it in the end. The atmosphere is also amazing with beautiful paintings and awesome statues. The bathrooms were clean and the service was top-notch. Overall the experience was a 10 out of 10 and I hope you give this restaurant a try.

Wow, everything we tasted was awesome. We tried scallion noodles, dim sum, soup dumplings and coconut buns, every single thing tasted very good. Will return to try other options.
