So many great reviews and creative takes on some classics made us decide to dine here. The appetizers all looked so good, so we decided to order 4 of them: Shepard’s Pie Croquettes, Brussel Sprouts, Calamari, and Pretzel with beer cheese. All of it was just ‘eh’. Nothing to write home about. The croquettes are missing flavor, very bland. The rémolade with the calamari, however, was too spicy. Brussel sprouts had a good flavor from the truffle oil…but again they are missing something. Something to take it to the next level.
We appreciate good food and tonight the execution of these creative concepts fell short.

A great spot for a casual but hearty meal. We’ve been a few times now and have always enjoyed all our food and drinks. The creole salmon and lobster blt were favorites. They also have a small room off the side that you can reserve for a bigger group on weekday nights, which worked great for family visiting town. It’s a nice location right down by the waterfront but feels separate from the tourist crowd.

Amazing food!!! Great drinks! We had not been here since it was called Boston’s. We will definitely return! Very social and friendly place. We had the shepherd’s pie croquettes, lobster&crab rangoons, onion soup, portugese soup, bugers, and the vegetable & chicken risotto. Everything was excellent. The peanut butter cup and key lime pie for dessert were awesome. Thank you for a great dinner!!!!

I’d say this place is about 4.5 out of 5. Really awesome atmosphere of cozy Irish eatery/pub with wonderful wait staff who helped us and was attentive without being too much in your business. The clam chowder was good but it was a little too heavy on the cream and light on the seafood. That’s the main qualm I had with this place. The little neck clams were delicious and warmed us right up along with a tasty Guinness.

This place impressed me a lot! The chicken cordon bleu was very good and I enjoyed everything on my plate. We ordered shepherd’s pie croquettes, calamari, and buffalo chicken egg rolls (not pictured). All were great appetizers. The croquettes were especially unique and delicious. Great meal and great service!

Charming pub atmosphere with amazingly good food. 6 of us all loved our different dishes. Very nice staff as well. As a steak tip aficionado I was delighted to find Dillon’s to be the best I ever had.

The food is so good here, my favorite the Rueben sandwich, crazy good with purple cabbage rather than sour kraut. Package this sandwich with a crock of the best onion soup you’ll ever try. Amazing meal,
There’s a few other things I get here and all exceptions. This really is where all of us locals go to . Both for the atmosphere and the food and service.

Dillon’s Local is a small bar/restaurant. We were told that it was a favorite of many locals, so we decided to check it out. Well, I had the BEST short rib grilled cheese sandwich! Made with short rib and two kinds of cheese, it was delicious. My husband enjoyed fish tacos and sweet potato fries, served hot, as they should be. Service was average.
