Came across this adorable little restaurant passing thru Orange. Love the outside patio! Place was clean and spaced well. There was nobody in the place and at first was not certain if even open….started to back out, but then this very lovely young lady greeted us and sat us down. Took her suggestions for what to try and had their homemade boudin balls (so freaking yummy); the combo fried rice which was crawfish and crab(husband said it was really good); and the Philly cheesesteak poyboy ( it was ok, good but just ok) Nice bar set up for those who would like a drink or two, definitely a go to place. We were there almost 1 1/2 ..waitress stated the fried rice take longer to make than most things on menu. [Three tables came in after we did, received their food before we did, ate and left before we did]. That was my only con for this restaurant, maybe let the person know that if ordering this entrée be prepared for a wait. Overall a place to visit and enjoy your self

I took my Parents. Love local businesses and wanted to try Dillons. I ordered the grilled seafood with fries and onion rings. Grilled fish was delicious and so were the shrimp. Fries were above average and the onion rings were very good! Parents split the fried seafood platter and they were very pleased with the taste and potions! We had boudin balls for an appetizer and they were very good. Tried the binghett fries and they were also very good.
The four of us ate for 80 dollars before tip and we had an appetizer and dessert. I hope more people try this place and help keep it open. We need more options in Orange and we had excellent service! Overall we were very pleased and will go back! We began eating before taking pics! Lol

Enjoyed the appetizer Roti w/Cajun sauce
Had a good Thai noodles tho it was heavy on carrots.
I had a shrimp po’boy with fries.
All were warm and flavored ok. Nothing really stood out. Will try them again for dinner.

Stuffed crabs I had were 99% stuffing with too much pepper… The pork sandwich is great. Last time I had salmon and it was really dry and kinda boring… The baked potato, well it was a potato, nothing to make wrong there.

There was only one other table occupied. The waitress was very nice and friendly and the food was very good. They had the biggest popcorn shrimp I’ve ever seen. Onion rings were great, fries were very good also. Chicken Fried rice had a lot of chicken and a fried egg on top. My wife and I recommend this place and we will be back.

It was over all exceptional. There was another guest who accidentally spilled her drink and the staff was on it ASAP. Not only were they quick about the cleaning but it was a smell great clean and not a sour smell clean. I came here when they first opened and was not too impressed but today I am extremely and full impressed. Not only will I return I will invite and bring family and friends. Keep up the good work.
The young men working that day was really on their job. They checked in us without us having to look for them for service awesome. Good young teenage help is very hard to find with respectful attire. I love it.

First time stopping in… Service was great, and our waitress kept our drinks full. She was patient as we decided on what we wanted.
The portion sizes was good for the price, and our food was on point. 3 picky kids approved.
Can’t wait to return.

The place was empty when we got there. Handed 2 menus. One was a typical menu, the other was a copy of a handwritten menu. The fried pickles are ok. I ordered the boiled jumbo shrimp with the garlic butter seasoning. I didn’t taste any seasoning. The shrimp had not been cleaned properly. One of the cooks went into the bathroom hallway and argued with is wife on the phone. Would not go again.

So… I didn’t want to try this restaurant due to the other reviews, and due to me not trying places unless they have a 4 or above… but we decided to give them a chance since they are a local business. Well, we order take out. We tried the seafood platter, crawfish fried rice, and egg rolls. First the fish, and oysters had very little flavor and we’re dry. And, the crawfish fried rice ( which I was looking forward to) had a very peculiar smell and taste to the point I could not even eat it. The egg rolls were the only edible thing we received. I could actually eat those again. Lastly, the phone customer care could use some work. I would love to maybe try this place again if they make some changes.

Great food, awful service. Had to call from inside resturant to get waitress to get out of kitchen for refills, then she went back into the kitchen until we finished and brought the check. We looked inside kitchen via the kitch door window to see staff sitting on floor faces stuck in there phones. It was apparently obvious there focus wasn’t on customer service, Just a paycheck. And to add we were the only ones there eating. Good food To go just don’t eat in.
