Take a step back in time and come visit us! We recreated a vintage soda shop in which we make our own ice cream with natural ingredients. We use only pure cane sugar. No preservatives! We are also the home of Johnson County’s largest public accessible HO scale model railroad display. We tell the story of Johnson County’s railroad history in photos and videos. We have horns, bells and whistles to delight your child or the child within you. We have 2 hallways with Antiques and Vintage items from various Vendors! We also replicated Shiftar’s, which was a famous Drive-In located in Cleburne in the 50’s and 60’s, original chili recipe. We also serve Frosted Root Beers in a frosted mug along with other favorites! Call us to book your party!!

Love Dillon Depot & their antiques. ♥️ We’ve been going for years, and no matter the age, our kiddos always love the trains, displays, & antique selections. Ice cream is delicious with great & unique flavors, customer service is top tier. Also, hard to find a veggie dog these days, and ALWAYS grateful they have that option available for me. Same price as Brahms, but supporting local business and that homemade taste. Plus you can shop the antiques while you wait!

Dillon’s Depot in Cleburne, Texas is such a fun step back in time! I had an amazing experience here and honestly came for the food but stayed for *everything* else.
I ordered one of their old-fashioned chili dogs, made with a homemade, war-era style chili that was absolutely delicious—rich, hearty, and smothered all over a hot dog, and sprinkled with cheddar cheese and chopped onions, just the way it should be. It came with chips, and I washed it down with an ice-cold Dr. Pepper, which felt perfect for the vintage soda shop vibe. For dessert, I couldn’t resist the homemade ice cream, and it was super creamy and smooth—exactly what you want from a classic soda fountain.
Beyond the food, Dillon’s Depot is packed with charm. The large HO-scale model train display is incredibly detailed and fun to watch, especially if you’re into trains or local railroad history. There are scavenger hunts for kids, antique and collectible shops to browse, and so many nostalgic details everywhere you look, even a piano, which we all had a turn to play. It really feels like a tribute to Cleburne’s railroad past.
The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly, and you can tell the owners truly care about creating a special experience. Whether you’re a train lover, history fan, or just looking for a unique place to eat ice cream and enjoy something different, Dillon’s Depot is 100% worth the stop. I’ll definitely be back!

I love their ice cream! The Key Lime Pie flavor is so delicious! Flavors change daily, and they always have a great selection. It’s fun to shop around at the antiques and vintage items…and look at the trains! Kids love the cow and character scavenger hunts. We’ve enjoyed the events a lot! Great place to meet with friends and family!

What a nice and cozy place! many different options for unique gifts and also with good food. we had a great time there. Ginger was super friendly and welcoming. They make their ice cream and soda and we loved it. I went with my duagther. Great environment for a family visit.

This is such a cute place to just come and browse the antiques and have some sweets and snacks. It’s always such a warm welcoming environment and has some of the best ice cream and floats I have ever had. On top of having friendly dairy free options all the ice cream is made in house which just adds to the quality. Great place to just come and hangout. Not my first time nor will it be the last! Until next time.

We love Dillon Depot! The homemade ice cream is THE BEST, and they always have new flavors on the menu. My personal fave is the ice cream float, yum. They also have food.
Plus, they have so many things to do and see in the shop, including a huge display of model trains, scavenger hunt, bounce houses on occasion, and lots of antiques and consignment booths to browse.
I highly recommend stopping in for a visit. You won’t regret it!

This place was so cool to look in. They had rooms with antique and cool collections. They also have a town built where the train goes all around it. We walked around all the rooms and saw the train and lastly we tried their homemade ice cream and it was amazing. They also had a bounce house and that day that had Halloween in July and some events for kids. Customer service was very welcoming, I definitely recommend.

Cleburne is my hometown (live in Michigan now), and seeing places like in Cleburne make me so happy! A friend suggested we go and have a hot dog and a Dr Pepper float. They were both amazingly delicious!
The memorabilia was cool to look through and of course the super sized train set was the star of the show.
Love the booths to do a little shopping as well.
Great place and look forward to coming back next time I’m in town.
