The owners/operators were very nice. I was their food delivery guy that day. It has a style that is getting harder to find in the modern day of production chain restaurants. I intend to go back with my wife to eat soon. Go and see them before places like this are gone. Preparation areas were well kept. Great atmosphere. Cannot give an honest review on food as I was not there to eat, but Will amend this after I do. I’ve no doubt it will be good.

Edited after response: I didn’t discuss their “sweet tea”, but what I said was their Macaroni and cheese is sweet… they put sugar in it, that kind of sweet. Not good at all. Maybe their roast beef and Mac and cheese was having an off day when we were there. End edit.

It was not declared by checking it out online, that this is a “Cafeteria Style ” restaurant. We tried to like it. The “choices” were from 2 meats. Roast beef in something. And over cooked Salmon patties. The Mac and cheese was SWEET!! Not appealing. I ordered a Diet coke. I watched the person open a container of Diet coke and pour it in a Styrofoam cup.
No, this was disturbing. Won’t be back. Wasn’t asked if I wanted a drink refill.
They need an update!
Decor was cool!

Old school meat and 3 lunch spot, home cooking at its finest!
Daily rotating lunch specials and don’t wait till the last minute to go because they could be sold out!
Their meatloaf is by far my favorite. If I see it’s the daily special chances are pretty high, that’s where I’m going for lunch.

Visiting from out of town and stopped here for some lunch , got a plate that included their breaded meat loaf , Mac and cheese , and mashed potatoes. The Mac and cheese surprised me a bit because it was sweet oppose to your regular cheeses taste , however it’s a great place to stop and try a different flavor of comfort food. Staff is very friendly

I enjoyed stopping at this meat and three on my way to the cumberland river. We were greeted by some really nice folks behind the counter and were served some great home cooked food. We came pretty close to their closing time and were served excellent fresh sweet tea as well!

Extremely dated decor that is obviously “run down”. Food was just okay.

Although we went to the address on the site and found it closed, the short trip back to find the food being served from a small trailer was worth the trip. I had a vegetable plate and it was delicious. If you’re in Hartsville, eat at Dillehay’s. If you’re not in Hartsville ,it’s worth the drive!

Food was not appealing and not very tasty. I only had beans & cornbread…both pretty dry. Not much selection on buffet. Sorry, call it as I see it. Most likely not to return.
