Different Pointe of View is the longest consecutively awarded AAA Four-Diamond restaurant in the Valley. Floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the dramatic panoramas of the Valley’s desert landscape, the city’s twinkling lights, and Arizona’s colorful sunsets. With colors from seasonal produce and inspired by the cuisines of the Mediterranean region, we use infused oils, one-of-a-kind rubs, and exotic sea salts taking flavor to a new level throughout the menu.
Elegant American eatery in the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort featuring sweeping valley views.

Reviews
1. The views are fantastic. Prior to being seated, we went to the patio and very much enjoyed the panoramic view of downtown & a large portion of the valley.
2. The personal service can only be described as top notch, A1 & Primo. Our waiter had an impressive knowledge of the wine list. He was welcoming & helpful: always there when we needed him but never hovering.
3. The dining facilities/seating were tastefully decorated and very comfortable.
4. It was a very fun drive all the way to the top.
5. The steak tartar appetizer was to die for! Wow & Yum!
Minuses:
1. The Filet Minot was not even close to the best I’ve ever had. We were very disappointed in the main course. My steak was undercooked, wife’s steak was very well done. The flavor was off as well. The duck fat fingerling potatoes were not good. Wife’s mashed potatoes were very good. Best part of the main dish were some very tasty, crisp asparagus spears. Quite honestly, Texas Roadhouse will give you a better filet for a third of the price.
2. The valet parking was non existent. No one ever showed up (5pm).
3. The odor inside the building was very off putting. Don’t know if it was mold, mildew or old smell. Almost enough to make our party of eight turn around. It did seem to dissappear once we were all the way to the top.
So, a mixed review. We really wanted this to be a great experience. It was and it wasnt.
It is a bit out of the way if you’re not staying close by but it’s worth the drive. The view is breathtaking and you can watch the sunset while you dine.
The only critique I have is the service could have been more personable. Normally they will ask if you’re celebrating anything etc.the service was great other than that.
The appetizers were large portions, I ordered two and I was full. The beef tartare was great!
The star of the show was definitely the dessert! We got the pumpkin mousse.
I would highly recommend going even just for a drink and appetizers in their terrace room!
Once we made it to reception they were quick to find our reservation and seated up immediately. I really wish I had the names of the two team members that assisted up with having an amazing night. 02/16/2026 8PM. Thank you to my servers.
They welcomed us and had a super friendly vibe. I didn’t just feel like a customer, I felt like a guest. Customer service was 10/10. They were extremely attentive and respectful.
The food was amazing. From breads, wine, appetizers, entrees, and lastly dessert.
Breads were amazing, complemented with a butter, pesto, and sweet fruity cream cheese. Btw they aren’t skimpy on the quality of their bread
The Malbec we had was amazing, perfect temp, and extremely clean glasses. Making sure the wine was to our liking, my girlfriend and I do enjoy our wines. Big thank you for making my girlfriend happy.
Appetizer: FRESH! The beef tartar was fresh, beautifully presented.
The love of my life truly enjoyed her Parmesan Black Pepper Gnocchi. OMG you guys elevated our standards of what Gnocchi should taste like.
Best way to describe it would be “the softest most light mashed potato as a tiny pillow, covered in a amazing black pepper sauce”
Entrees: Beautiful, NY strip was perfect temp, and delicious, potato cake was amazing! My queen had San Marzano Tomato Coconut “Korma”. SHE LOVED IT!!! Thank you for assisted me on making our first Valentines Date and dinner amazing! We love you guys!!!
Dessert: Not going to lie, we were full but how could we say no . Creme Brûlée was amazing, fresh vanilla seeds were visible, perfectly caramelized crust on top, topped with fresh Raspberries and Blueberries. Thank you guys.
OKAY so if you took the time to read my review you are probably asking the price. I was expecting to pay $300+. Nope it was only $230 for a $500 dinning experience. Make sure to tip your servers generously and please just enjoy yourself here. The servers are amazing, the view is spectacular, and lastly it a place that even photos won’t do it justice. Thank you team Different Pointe of View for making that night amazing.
TLDR: terrible view from our table, lack of attention to detail. Food and service were as good as we expected.
