Diesel’s Dogs and Burgers is locally owned and operated. We opened November 13, 2018. The name comes from the Owners husky dog named Diesel. He once had hot dogs and a burger one night, got spoiled, and never ate dog food again. With that said, It’s our goal to offer the best burgers and dogs you’ll ever have at a great price. We grind our meat fresh, then season, and lastly make our patties every morning. You won’t believe how amazing they are. We also are known for our homemade diesel sauce (Famous chili) It’s a family recipe that was perfected. Customers love putting the diesel sauce on their burgers, hotdogs, fries & tots. This is the best freshest never frozen food anywhere around! And a variety of EVERYTHING is offered with different specials EVERYDAY! The employees all have great attitudes and hearts of gold. We were traveling through the area and I found this place on Google. We are so glad we stopped! I ordered the steak fajitas and my boys had cheeseburgers. The burger was unlike anything we have ever experienced before. The quality of meat was amazing. The steak fajitas were amazing! The girl who took our order was so very nice. We loved everything about this place. If you are looking for a unique experience this is worth your time. I was so consumed with the atmosphere I forgot to take pictures of our food but I was floored at how many choices they had for food. Anything you are craving they offer. We are from Utah and there is nothing close to this here. Not sure if we will ever pass through here again but if we do I would love to stop by again.

Excellent! Ordered the Prime Ribeye special with loaded mashed potatoes and a salad with ranch – the picture of fresh prime ribeye on their FB page looked too good not to. I am not from the area and was traveling through staying in town for the night. Not wanting to be disappointed by a chain restaurant, I find this hidden gem on Google. Initially, I was thinking it was probably mostly hotdogs (hence the name) and hamburgers- but pictures on their FB and menus showed tons of options!! From sea food – to Mexican food – pasta – burgers- hot dogs and what I ordered.. prime ribeye steak smothered in onions and mushrooms (or without). On the outside, this is definitely a “hole in the wall” type place that you would not even expect to have such great quality food.. but they did not disappoint!! I honestly laughed at how weird it felt ordering a prime ribeye steak from a food truck type set up on a random country road. BUT I’m so glad I did! Everything was excellent- my food was made fresh to order, so I sat in my car and waited since I ordered it to go (you can also call in ahead of time). My steak was cooked to a perfect medium and the loaded mashed potatoes we’re phenomenal! My salad had fresh avocado AND I even got a fortune cookie with my order, which was a neat addition to the overall experience. There is plenty of outdoor seating that would be great on a cooler day. I’d highly recommend this place if you’re in the area! The only negative thing I would say about the food was the ranch dressing for my salad was not restaurant style ranch made fresh.. it had a soured taste like it was pre made in a jar (if you know, you know). Otherwise I give this place 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This makes me want to open up a food truck in front of my house in my town and make some excellent food . Keep up the good work guys!

Found this place after mistaking the Lil Charlie’s Chicken for their menu, they aren’t the same place anymore I guess. But man does this place scream Texas Heartbun and I loved it. I live in Austin and this kind of meal is hard to find, the ‘question your life choices’ kind of meal. Had the Diesel Fully Loaded Tots with a burrito and my girlfriend had the Diesel Fully Loaded Dog, both are great.

Decided to give this place a try after so many GREAT reviews from friends & family. When we got there, the parking lot was deserted, & were unclear about where to park. We were met by the uncertainty of the “open” sign, as our minds wondered if the place was even opened. Luckily, getting closer & reading a sign, that said to ring the doorbell when ready to order, made it all clear, if it weren’t enough getting spooked by the associate that suddenly popped out of nowhere through the order window. We looked through the menu a bit, but we were interested in the burgers everyone was talking about, & finally found it on the last menu page, the burgers that were rated “The Best Burgers EVER Voted Best Burgers In Caldwell County 2021.” We decided to go with the quarter pound cheeseburger, & bacon cheeseburger combo, that brought our total to $26 even. The associate told us that we could wait in our vehicle, & our order would be brought out when ready. After waiting a full 25 – 30 mins, our order was brought to us with our drinks we ordered with the combo. I imagined our drinks would come in a cup with ice & straw, but was slightly disappointed by the sight of bottled drinks. None the less, we didn’t go there for the drinks, we were anticipating the taste of these burgers! The excitement was more than I could bare, & was not disappointed as we opened the togo containers. We were met by a beautiful sight, as we knew exactly why the burger combos cost so much. The bun was toasted nicely, the burger homemade, & the produce nice & fresh. These burgers were made to be an eye catcher & should be on a commercial or magazine add. But let me get to the bacon cheeseburger! Did someone order BACON, cause you certainly got what you paid for! Our side were these “tetra” shaped tots, they were interesting, & I was ready to dive in! The size of the burger makes it hard to get started, but tackling it, was part of the excitement! My first thoughts… It was “ok.” Don’t get me wrong, I love the freshness of the veggies they used, but I found myself wondering if there was mayo, when I didn’t ask for it. Was it just a part of my imagination?.. Halfway through my burger, I decided to try the patty by itself, & I was met with a confirmed question I was having throughout the meal, it tasted a bit salty for our liking… The “tetra” tots were ok, but it had some kind of taste to it that I wasn’t sure of, yet, my husband enjoyed them just fine, so I don’t know?.. Would I go back? Possibly to try something else, but not be back for a burger combo that wasn’t rated the “Best in Caldwell County,” in my opinion. In my opinion, I don’t know how they got that award because I have tasted better burgers in town that were a lot cheaper.

I’ve been craving a good and juicy burger; nothing from fast food compared to this meaty treasure!! So many options to load on and you get to choose your size of burger! My only meal of the day = 1/2 lb burger with bacon, cheese, pico de Gallo and avocado! Saying this burger slammed is an understatement!! A little pricey but totally worth every penny! Definitely checkout the company FB page! Other than that, phenomenal taste, place and staff!

Holy cow. This place is absolutely phenomenal! The food is in large portions, prices are reasonable, and most importantly tastes amazing! Everything is super fresh and you can tell it’s made on the spot. Fair warning, there is a LOT of menu to look over, around 12+ full pages. I would absolutely recommend eating here and would love to be back in the future!
