Very solid brunch but no particular item was standout. The soju bloody Mary is spicy and interesting.
We had the biscuit and gravy – I’d get it again. The gomps sandwich also solid.

The eggs Benedict is sooo good. I also got the biscuits and gravy because I had to try it. Perfect all around.. super friendly staff and a cool view of the chef going to work!

Been wanting to try this place for a while, but I won’t be going back. Half the restaurant had a strange smell and all the food was disappointing. The eggs were cooked well though. My friend had the duck con fit and didnt like it. Staff was nice.

We came here for breakfast on a weekday and they were moderately busy, mostly all locals who clearly eat there regularly. I say that because when people walked in, the server immediately brought coffee to their table and made conversation that indicated they were regulars… this is telling about a place, if the locals eat there on a regular basis, there’s probably something good about the place.
In this case, they offered so many great/appetizing items on the menu that it was tough to choose what to eat. I asked the server which was best from a few items that looked appeitizng to me and she told me to go with the chicken biscuit… this was a great piece of advise, as that was a very tasty breakfast entrée! The hash browns that came with it were incredible too! The gravy on top of the biscuit was excellent… batter on the chicken was perfect too!
My wife got the veggie bowl and she absolutely loved it. It definitely looked really good and was loaded with a nice assortment of veggies!
Overall – Great breakfast was had here… Stop in and try it for yourself!

Excellent breakfast, I was in the way to mendocino, I had scrambled eggs,plus hashbrown and toast and added avocado, was so delicious and I liked the atmosphere. Remember they don’t have latte or capuchino ! But a good coffee and other drinks are available.

All and all it was an overall pleasant experience. We have a dog and there patio accomadated him. The food was good. We both got breakfast. The cafe serves breakfast and lunch. Breakfast was good I had biscuits and gravy and the other party had what should be called chicken and waffles (comes under a diffrent name). It was cooked to perfection, hash browns were crisp and not overbearing done. The eggs came exactly as ordered. The plates were filling. Service was good too. Friendly staff who check on us frequently. Atmosphere was relaxed and casual.

Dierk’s Parkside Cafe is the spot for a great breakfast. Everything had good flavor. Their prices are very reasonable. They make cinnamon rolls in the morning (not sure if they make it every morning). Very friendly staff. Even the cooks said hello. I love that. I can’t wait to go back.

We’ve eaten here many times over the years and for the most part, the food is good. Has always been more expensive than others in the area. The quality has been declining and prices have risen (everyone has raised their prices). Today’s experience sealed our decision on not returning. $85.00 for 3 people to have breakfast. They were out of multiple items, sour dough bread being one of them. The bacon was as thin as Denny’s Restaurant would be. The chicken fried steak was small flat patties that appeared and tasted like low quality frozen ones. The gravy was heavily chicken flavored, greasy and lumpy.
Our waitress was pleasant and attentive, though so that’s a plus.
