Dicus BBQ is a small building in California that serves some very good BBQ. I tried the pork steak with Mac and cheese and pit beans. The pork steak was big and very tender. Not too much smoke and very good seasoning. You get BBQ sauce on the side. I originally came in on a Sunday for ribs, but they only sell those on Saturday. I did pick up a half slab left over from Saturday to take home, and they were delicious! I will definitely be back to try the burnt ends next time! Try it! You’ll like it!

This is top grade BBQ and well worth a drive from Jefferson City.

The Pulled Pork sandwich was fantastic. The potato salad was amazing. The Brisket Sandwich was loaded with great Brisket.

The interior is pleasant with several TVs playing current sporting events and multiple tables and chairs to enjoy your meal.

The staff are friendly and helpful.

Medium parking lot.

The building was an old car wash. It doesn’t look like much on the outside but the inside is very nice and clean.

I got the bbq bowl with pulled pork and burnt ends, it was the best bowl. It also has mashed potatoes in it, the best. Also it has Cole slaw it in, it’s good. The cheesy corn was the best I ever had as well. The staff was so cool. Place was very clean. One of my favorite places now.

Good lawdy… This food should be illegal. They cater at a local golf function I’ve been at twice. First time was really good. Went again tonight and it was superb. The bbq sauce is unique, full of flavor and goes well with all the well prepared meat. Here’s the kicker, their cheesy corn. I’ve had this before in my life and generally it’s just meah. I went for thirds. To say the least I’m taking my family at the next possible available time so they can experience this. Good work.

Got the BBQ cup it’s like a big gulp for your belly ……..brace yourself, you’re going to need a nap afterward. It gets better every time we go. Update: So the cup has been upgraded to a bowl . Every time I try to remember to update the picture, I’ve already eaten it all. He has ribs now they’re pretty awesome. Go see him.

HOLY COW!!! Just needed something quick to eat on the way out of town, and this came up on Google. Greeted by a friendly chatty lady who was awesome. Food came out quick! Average BBQ prices, but sides were in cup containers as opposed to the half cup containers they usually do, the sandwiches we got had to have had about a third to a half pound of meat, so very generous portions. The potato salad was magnificent, well seasoned with perfectly cooked potatoes, the mac and cheese was the real deal, creamy and delicious. The Brisket was smoky, well seasoned and juicy, but not wet, the sauce it came with complimented it perfectly, the Pulled Pork Sandwich my husband got was smoky tender and had a little sweetness that complimented it well. Hard to go wrong if you’re craving BBQ, I’m eager to go back and try the Pork Steak (they were out) and the beans.
