When you walk in it is a really nice looking restaurant. We was expecting some really good home cooked type food considering their connection to Rocky and Carlos. We was disappointed in the food, both of us. It was bland and needed a little love. They know what should go in that baked macaroni and it’s not all in there. The stuff pepper seemed like it wasn’t in the oven long enough and wasn’t browned on top. You can tell by the light color of it in the picture. Green beans needs some love to, just ♂️ it won’t take much just taste what’s going out and adjust.

This was my first visit to this place. We get our drink order and a basket of garlic bread, that was delicious and lighter than air. We got the blackened shrimp pasta in a Cajun sauce.2 servers recommended it. IT was fantastic. Great service and ice tea!

Came in on a Saturday for a late lunch and have no regrets. I got the shrimp with alfredo and ravioli and it was delicious. I got the chocolate peanut butter pie to go for dessert and it was amazing. Lots of holiday decorations and the grinch was walking around greeting customers. Reasonable prices.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience. We strolled in on a Saturday, after a walk around Downtown Covington. We had no idea what to expect. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff , although running around hectic as all get out , were incredibly polite and quickly got us seated. We were offered bread to hold us over. The portions were enormous, the food was fresh and I could not have been happier. Only bump in the road was , we didnt get our drinks refilled very often , and the waitress spoke a little too close to my face. Other than those 2 little things. A wonderful dinner.

We ordered a muffelatta and an order of chicken parm with Mac n cheese. The muffelatta had a little meat but mainly bread… kind of bland. The chicken parm was soggy and not very tasty- everything lacked flavor and/or salt. The female manager checked on us and asked how everything was. I was honest about the chicken parm being soggy and her response was, this is how they always prepare it because this is the traditional way… i did not mention anything else – we were not trying to be complainers or get a discount and i dont think she was interested in hearing it anyway. This is our first visit – i heard wonderful things and was looking forward to coming but we will not return. Honestly, this was the worst tasting muffalatta that I have ordered from ANY establishment and my husband had mentioned the same thoughts on his chicken parm.
I am having a difficult time adding pictures showing how little meat was on the muffalatta and the boiled looking/tasting chicken parm.

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to the team at DiChristina’s for hosting my 60th birthday bash in their beautiful private dining room. The ambiance was perfect, and it truly made the celebration feel special.
Frank, Maria, and the staff (especially Shelby!) went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly, and the delicious food received rave reviews from all my guests. The attention to detail and warm hospitality made the evening unforgettable.
Thank you once again for making my milestone birthday a very special and memorable occasion. We look forward to returning soon!

Northshore, don’t miss this gastronomic treat. From seafood to pasta you can’t go wrong. The soft shell crab was huge!!! The meatballs and baked macaroni, also huge. Their onion rings are thinly sliced and delicious!!!

The Mac and cheese was so greasy we couldn’t eat it, the roast beef poboy pretty close to the worst, the spaghetti didn’t come with any bread so had to order bread and spaghetti was cold before we ever got the bread. I guess we had 2 waitresses as one took the order then when bread didn’t come with the plate she told the other lady which that lady told a younger girl who actually went to get the bread. Tried to eat the spaghetti but was just too cold. We set everything to the edge of the table they didnt offer to remake anything and got nothing taken off our bill. This place was recommended to us but we will never go there again.you can see from the pics how greasy the Mac is and that the spaghetti had already dried out.

My visit to DiCristina’s Italian restaurant in Covington, LA was overall very enjoyable. The thin onion rings appetizer was a delicious start to our meal, and the meatballs and baked macaroni for dinner were hearty and satisfying.
The owner’s personal touches and the attentive service added to the charm of the dining experience. However, the main entrees unfortunately arrived at our table lukewarm/cold. Despite sending them back for reheating, the temperature did not improve significantly on the second attempt.
On a more positive note, the food portions were generous and left us feeling full and content. While the temperature issue was a bit disappointing, it didn’t overshadow the other positive aspects of our meal. I would still recommend DiCristina’s for the tasty food and inviting atmosphere, but suggest keeping an eye on the temperature of your dishes.

My favorite place to have dinner for my birthday. The food is always great and staff is amazing. They handle everything really well. From my family to yours, thanks for excellent service and great vibes! My favorite dishes are the calamari and a cheese ravioli with red gravy. Ive never had a dish I didn’t like and that’s really special for a restaurant. Thanks again!
