If, you love a hometown diner atmosphere, Dick’s Diner is your place to go!
You have multiple seating choices with a diner counter, booth style seating and even a couple of high tables in the front diner section. Then there is regular restaurant table seating within the two available dining rooms.
My husband and I find the food to be very satisfying when we are in the mood for a good home style meal.
Two of our favorite things to order have been the Stuffed Pepper with mashed potatoes meal and the Premier NYC Reuben sandwich. We find ourselves ordering them often.
Their pies and desserts are locally home made and always delicious!
We last stopped in for breakfast. I ordered an omelet. It was large enough, I could only eat half and brought my second half home. The coffee was good with my cup kept refilled throughout the meal… this is a major deal for me! I often say that the tip I leave is determined by the coffee service I receive!

We had a very nice meal there this morning. I was hungry for a good breakfast and it did not disappoint. I had eggs bacon sausage and rye bread. I also had corned beef hash. Which was very very good. The coffee was excellent. Always good to find good coffee. It really makes the meal. The waitress was very efficient and friendly. We really had a good time.

Great food! I ordered the hot turkey sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious! Think chunks of freshly carved turkey. I ordered French fries with it and gravy on the side. It’s great seeing that they’re opened every day again! The waitress was fast, friendly, and very helpful. If you can’t eat dessert at the store, you have to try one of the many choices of freshly made pies! I love their chocolate cream pie.

Always wanted to try Dick’s. Amazing. I think I waited 3 minutes between ordering and my food arriving. Also got a slice of Dutch apple pie that was incredible. I had chicken noodle soup that reminded me of Eat n Park’s and Spaghetti and a meatball, all tremendous. Waitress was friendly.

I went to the diner for a late breakfast with 4 others on Valentine’s Day. It was packed and there was a line to the door. The manager (or owner) came out and assured us quick service, and indeed, we were seated quickly.
Despite the crowd, our waitress was friendly and helpful and our food came out reasonably fast. The waitress that was seating people had her birthday and was turning 18. The manager came out to the dining area and publicly thanked her for working so hard on her birthday. The entire diner clapped and showed their appreciation. What a classy thing to do! We had a great experience on a difficult day. This place is run right and the staff is top notch.

Ritchie the owner is so kind, and cares about all his customers. He makes every meal his top priority and ensures food is fresh, as well as cooked to order. The staff are all caring and kind as well. They do their best to get food out as quickly as possible, while making sure cooked properly. The prices are excellent as well. I highly recommend it! Grab a cold beer while you wait! Great live music always, and the staff at the brewery are always eager to serve you with a smile!

Dinner on 2/14. Not very busy when I was there. Was seated next to the toilets even though there were other tables. Young waitress took order then didn’t even bring my drink (water) or cutlery – spent 10 minutes chatting with her friend. Had to ask (very nice) older waitress who could see that I was about to leave. Young waitress didn’t provide much in the way of anything then had the nerve to ask if I wanted change from $20 for a $14 check!!
I’ve been visiting Dick’s Diner for 20+ years but mostly the service is getting way worse. The new people just don’t provide good service at all, don’t care about the customers, and just care about getting their tip. I feel bad for the old timers who continue to provide proper service. I like to support this local business but frankly there are better choices, with better service and similar “value”.

Wanted to stop somewhere we haven’t, and we were all very happy with Dick’s Diner! The portions are huge, and the food is delicious! The pot roast melted in my mouth. Everyone loved their selection. Our waitress had a great personality and was attentive to everyone she was serving. And the pie, oh the pie, it was so very good!! We will definitely be returning for more food. My whole family highly recommends this place!

Dick’s Diner is one of those places I’ve driven by numerous times and thought “I should try it sometime!”, so I finally did! My mom and I went out to breakfast and we both really enjoyed our experience. Our server was very friendly and was on top of our table. The restaurant was quite busy, however we still got our food in a timely manner.
I ordered eggs Benedict with a side of potatoes. I absolutely loved how it tasted! My only complaint is the potatoes were not included as a side and were ordered separately.
I will certainly be back some time I’m in Murrysville to try more items on the menu!
