I’ve been trying to visit this restaurant for some time, and I can confidently say it was worth the wait. The food is absolutely amazing! Our server was informative (if my memory service me correctly her name was Mora), and the menu had something for everyone. We will definitely be back this season! The prices reflect the high quality of both the food and the service. Excellent experience overall!

Second Jetty Restaurant is amazing! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a great view that makes dining there even better. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—especially the seafood dishes. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel welcome. Went for my husband’s birthday last night. Had a 7:45 chef’s table reservation. Seated 20 minutes after the reservation, which was fine as I understand that previous diners were finishing up. Once seated, chef’s table area was around 50 degrees due to the back door leading out of the kitchen being open. I have the utmost respect for the kitchen team who probably needs that door open to be comfortable preparing the food, however I do believe that the fact that the area would be unbearably cold should have been communicated to us. I had to eat with my coat on and my husband could not physically eat with his coat on and so he froze the entire meal. The waiter could not have been more inattentive. Once seated, it took 15 minutes for him to even come over and greet us. He offered to grab us another drink and return with drinks and dinner specials. The hostess brought our drinks and it was another 10 minutes before we saw the waiter again. For time sake, we are now almost an hour past reservation time. Food was great. Waiter came to check and ask if we need anything and I ordered a ginger ale. Waiter did not return to table for another 20 minutes even though I spotted him several times making stops in the kitchen to chat. Dinner was finished. Waiter asked how we were doing again. At this point, we asked for check and I informed him not to put the ginger ale that I ordered 20 minutes ago on our bill. Inauthentic apology given.
I will never return here. Food is great. As a seafood lover, I was very satisfied with that. The service was some of the worst I’ve ever had anywhere and our family eats out probably 1x/week. Sitting and freezing throughout the meal and having the waiter disappearing and lengthening the discomfort of us sitting in the cold was not appreciated at all. It is off-season for them so restaurant did not seem incredibly busy, nor did they seem understaffed so it is difficult for me to make sense of the entire experience.

The food is absolutely delicious. The mussels in a yellow curry sauce is amazing, along with the crudo and fish of the day specials. We had great service and drinks (thanks Claire). The atmosphere is laid-back with a mix of outdoor and indoor seating, small bar and nothing fancy. Can’t wait to eat here again!

This place is truly fantastic- we drove over an hour to have dinner here because we were craving fresh seafood and bright flavors. Of course, 2nd Jetty did not disappoint! Our server, Alessandra, was hospitable, kind, attentive, and walked us through the specials patiently. Our food was 10/10 and I appreciate that their wine and beer list is impressive! Even the valet employees were so kind. We look forward to coming back and enjoying this all throughout the summer!

2nd Jetty is hands down the best seafood in New Jersey. I actually used to work in this building back when it was “Something Fishy,” and it’s been amazing to see what it’s become.
The vibe is fintastic, local art on the walls, super friendly bartenders and staff who make you feel welcome right away. The seafood here is truly top tier. My absolute favorite dish is the coco mussels (don’t skip them!), and you have to save room for the butter cake every single time. If you’re lucky enough to catch the tuna cannoli special, that’s a must, too.
Drinks are just a bonus, they’re ridiculously delicious. Overall, 2nd Jetty nails it on all fronts. Can’t recommend it enough.

We visit 2nd Jetty at minimum several times a month. We love the food, staff and the neighborhood feel of the bar. But tonight it was about the food. DAMN! The Lobster Pot Pie special was incredible. A deep brown, rich, shrimp broth with lobster tails in shell, scallops and shrimp cooked to perfection and all the veggies you’d expect in a pot pie except also cooked to perfection with plenty of crunch and texture. 2nd Jetty is always great but woof! I’m still licking my chops!
