First off if the food was as good as the service, this would be 5 all day long. I got the 3 meat plate to go. Chicken, Ribs and Brisket. It comes with 2 sides and a bun. Could have sworn I saw it also came with a yellow cup online but that’s not the bad part.
The amount of meat for a $20+ dinner I think should have more meat than what you can see in the picture. I would rather have sacrificed a side or both sides to have received more meat. On top of which I was less than 10 minutes away from home and ate right away. But the meat and barbecue beans were maybe Luke at best. Not a lot of flavor either. It’s too bad because I specifically left tonight to go get bbq and figured it had been several years since the last time I had Dickeys bbq from this location. Based off this I can’t say I’ll be back.

Came in to order from the Bonney Store. I hadn’t been in over a year. The guy who helped us today was really nice and helpful. He had a friendly personality and good to talk to. The food was delicious.

$5 for a pulled pork sandwich and a beer on Tuesdays! Sandwich was good, nice amount of meat piled on a buttery bun with a couple onions and pickles. Haven’t had anything else here yet. Parking is easy and the place is a corner suite in the strip. Lots of seating, serve yourself bar of pop, napkins, and sauce.

Slow with online orders. They don’t meet estimated times. Crazy how it took a hour to make and still ends up cold. Poured all the sauce they gave me into my pulled pork can’t see any sauce and hardly can taste it.

I’ve Been coming to this location for years now and I have to say their quality of food and service has declined beyond belief. I used to order their Westerner sandwich and it was great toasted with a butter rub on it and now all you get is the bread un-toasted and no butter rub, nothing, just straight out of the bag.
So after being fed up with how they changed my favorite item off the menu that I had eaten for years (and this new menu which is so much more restrictive than before) My wife ordered their new Beefy Mac a few weeks ago off of their new menu and loved it and had so much food that she couldn’t finish it, I even tried a bite or two since I was really impressed with it and I was tempted to try it the next time I came here myself.
Fast forward to today when I ordered one for her (to go) and one for me to eat there with the rest of my family and I got such a small portion I thought it was laughable for the price I paid for it (It was less than 1/2 of the meat and macaroni than I ordered last time) and combined with what they gave my wife it was less than she received the last time we were here and she just ordered it. (you get more macaroni and cheese in the sides that you get when you order an item as a plate) and more meat if you order a 1/4 pound of meat as a plate. (and pay half the price as well)
I can’t recommend this place anymore after this experience, especially after how the employees responded to my concerns and how they reluctantly gave me a half of scoop extra of mac and cheese for my portion to shut me up and get rid of me. Like I said, it is so sad for me to see this place turn into this and to have this experience here. I paid $15 (before tax) and walked away with less food than I ever have seem for that amount of money spent at this location and how the employees run away and hide in the back room now before and after you order is just the icing on the cake.

Quality and consistency has been up an down for years, not to mention prices have continued to go up while nationally advertised Dickeys’ deals aren’t recognized or offered at this location.
Sometimes food is good and service is slow, and sometimes service is friendly and great and the food is cold and portions are tiny. You never know what you’re going to get.
I’m a BBQ lover and hate to see Dickeys or any business close, or for Bonney Lake to lose an eating choice.

We tried Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Bonney Lake last night for the first time. Four adults and two little kids. We LOVED it! We ordered the family size (feeds 4-6) with pulled pork and beef brisket, baked beans, potato salad and mac and cheese. All was fabulous and tasty. Both the brisket and pulled pork were done very well and a great texture. I’m looking forward to having ribs next time!
In celebration of memorial day there were flags from all branches of our military hanging from the ceiling and even the owner’s family displayed his Grandpa’s World War II uniform. Love the patriotism.
Service was great and fast at the counter. One of the owners came out to help us get our family seated and thanked us for coming in. Even though it was an extremely busy rush. The drinks are self serve, BBQ sauce endless in a warming pot to serve yourself. And to top it off free self serve ice cream for dessert!
As we enjoyed our ice cream the other owner came to our table to say hello and thanked us for stopping in, inviting us back again and very very friendly! Great family establishment and we look forward to more visits! Definitely recommend!

Took our two toddlers with us this evening. Haven’t ever eaten in at this Dickey’s before. Our food was prepared well and tasted great! They were out of several things (including bbq beans) but they told us before we ordered thankfully. Here’s the reasons for our 3 star rating: ice cream machine was out of order, high chairs were filthy and none had working straps/clips, no toilet paper in one of the restrooms, and overall everything seemed little dirty and sticky. Not what we remember from eating at other Dickey’s in the past. But again food was great!

We ordered Dickie’s BBQ in Bonney lake on Friday. It was $75 with the tip. It was 35 minutes late. The brisket was cold and grey. The sides were flavorless. Okra was steamed and soggy. Rolls were so hard that the only thing that they would be good for is putting behind your tire when you park on a hill. No smoke flavor at all.
