Ordered pie & meat.
Did not get pie.
When I called the lady said, “Our boss said to replace the pie with the brownies cuz, its like, practically the same price”.
Lazy business practice & cheating people out of 1.00 and change.
The meat was good. Kielbasa was the highlight.
Pecan Pie is the pinnacle of dessert. How dare you replace it & act like no one cares
I ordered the Pulled Pork sandwich with a side order of mashed potatoes and white gravy. The pulled pork was dryer than I’m used to. The mashed potato and gravy were okay. Over all the food wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t good either.
This will be the only time I visit here.
I’m not sure if the ice/water in the soda machine was bad, or the unsweet tea was bad, but when I sat down with a full yellow cup of drink, something smelled like sewer. Had to either be the ice or the tea, so I stopped drinking it.
My food was brought to me at the table a few minutes later. The meat wasn’t warm, and definitely wasn’t hot or freshly grilled/smoked, or even heated up for that matter. I probably shouldn’t have eaten it, but I was pretty hungry and had already payed. As I was getting in bed, I started to get the chills and aches in my body, and started to get a terrible fever. I tried to lay down but the heartburn and stomach pains were so bad I couldn’t fall asleep, so I ended up upchucking everything I had eaten that day. The fever lasted all night and got zero sleep. Don’t eat here, or atleast not at this location. My food poisoning symptoms subsided late in the day afterwards. Avoid any bbq place in a strip mall, because it ain’t bbq. Sorry Dickey’s, tried to love ya, but this was the final straw.
I needed to order stuff that was gluten-free and they hooked it up with tender rich brisket, sausage, beans and greens. The shop owners were on the line when I was there; they give a damn about good food and community, and it shows!

This location is in need of a manager or owner who performs quality control and who organizes the staff and their duties.
The staff right now are nice and courteous, they greeted me right away. The young lady was overwhelmed because the previous crew did not stock or prepare food for the dinner rush. They were out of a few side that I originally wanted.
The biggest issue here are all the dead flies on the dirty window seals. Dozens of them. I couldn’t take more pics because there were others eating near by and I didn’t want them to become aware of how nasty the windows are.The condiment station is filthy. The napkin holders are right about it as well so I’m sure that’s not sanitary. I did not want to see what the bathroom looked like… the Brisket was great tasting but I won’t come here again.
