Wow! Wanted to make Christmas eve dinner special for the family & was recommended this place by a friend. Truly one of the best italian spots we’ve tried ever & we’ve been to all the best. Quality ingredients, fresh dishes with the perfect flavor profiles, beautifully plated, & top tier service with every delicious bite! I also loved watching the synergy of the staff to provide each guest with a personally friendly experience. Will definitely stop by anytime we’re in Glenwood Springs. Also had the delicious calamari, mussels, & complimentary bread. Smelled so good we finished it all before remembering pictures lol.

I enjoyed a wonderful evening filled with delicious food, strong cocktails, and amazing service. My fiancé and I hosted a pre-wedding celebration for our wedding party on Sunday night.
The staff was very accommodating and helpful in ensuring our party of 9 was easily seated without an extended wait. Brava does not accept reservations; however, you have the option of contacting the manager for larger parties so they can prepare space ahead of time – that would be my suggestion for anyone looking for a table for 5+.
The atmosphere is very intimate with low lighting and soft music. Perfect for a evening with friends or a date night. All of the food was wonderful! They have a nice variety for the menu without being overwhelmed with options. Everyone was very satisfied with their dinner options and my personal favorite were the well crafted cocktails.
It’s a bit pricey – consider this a decadent evening out, but well worth it!

My sister and I stayed three nights in Glenwood Springs and the food was so good there the first night that we spent the other nights eating there too. The food there it’s absolutely delicious. The lobster risotto is to die for! The Bolognese was flavorful and filling! The homemade bread melts in your mouth!

We ate at Brava to celebrate a birthday with one vegetarian and one dairy free diner, both were very happy with the menu, ability to make edits and even the servers great recommendations. The portions were generous and everything we ate was phenomenal. Only warning is if you are a big espresso martini fan, don’t order it. It’s no loss though the other drinks are delicious.

Brava was recommended to us by our bartender at Hotel Colorado (we asked her, it wasn’t offered, and Hotel Colorado is also a really cool and great hotel). It definitely lived up to the recommendation.
We had a larger group and they accommodated us immediately. The food was top notch. I even requested an alteration to a dish which was delivered to perfection and absolutely delicious. Everybody from the manager to the server was friendly and helpful, and we were provided excellent service. In a small town with many great options, Brava truly stood apart. Highly recommended, you won’t regret it!

Bravo Brava! Today, by chance, we received an insider tip from a local named Jim (which we soon learned was one of 25 Jim’s in Glenwood Springs) to check out this Italian Trattoria. Upon arrival, we were quickly greeted by Marius, who was very attentive and eager to introduce us to Vinny, the proprietor and chef ( and acquaintance of the aforementioned “Jim”). From first entry, you are greeted by the smell of freshly grated garlic and rich olive oil adding to the authentic Italian atmosphere. Our first course was a freshly baked focaccia served alongside an olive oil, balsamic and herb dip. Our group ate enough bread to feed a small village, and were pleasantly surprised to find out it was included in the meal (side note; maybe don’t eat as much bread as we did however it is an option) For appetizers we experienced the arancini and an order of pan-seared scallops. The arancini was lightly crispy, filled with cheesy risotto, and served in a pesto cream sauce. The scallops were skillfully seared and cooked to perfection and offered the scallop flavor us scallop-heads crave. For the entrees a variety of pasta dishes were served, the majority of which featured seafood. The pasta was hand made, sauces rich and authentic, and served as perfect complement to the high quality ingredients used. Lastly we indulged in ricotta cheesecake and floated in a heavenly three-layer chocolate mousse. All in all, I would like to first thank Jim (1 of 25 Jim’s) P.S., if you are Jim please reply to this review to let us know you are a Jim. For Jim: “Thank you for introducing us to Brava and Vinny, as well as the nice man Marius who all surprised us with their warm hospitality simply by knowing “Jim”
In closing, Brava should be on the shortlist for restaurant of the year in Glenwood springs, Vinny should be on the shortlist for the James Beard best chef award, and Jim should be on the shortlist of top Jim in Glenwood Springs. This is a restaurant you do not want to miss, and truthfully warrants a journey out of your way to experience, especially if you’re in the valley or driving down I-70.
