We’ve been fairly frequent or loyal customers of this location since it opened, about 2 to 3 years ago. The food has always been excellent, a great value for the price! The service has always been pretty good, especially when the dark haired, middle aged female is working but most of other employees seem to have come & gone. There’s a young, teenage fellow who has been there almost a year (not sure of his name either but, he’s almost always wearing a U of M ball cap) and has close to above-average Customer Service skills…unlike this newer, younger blonde haired girl w/glasses, as she acted like we were somehow “interfering” with her side duties?!

DO NOT ORDER. Amount of food is beyond pathetic, 2 bones of ribs and 1/2 slice of sausage for $20, is a JOKE. To go order arrived with absolutely no bbq sauce, no silverware, no napkins. Called manager Amber and was told it was corporate that dictates portion size and their mistake for no bbq sauce, silverware and napkins and no resolution. So for $20 I received enough DRY meat for a two year old not an adult. DO NOT ORDER, complete WASTE of $.

Today was my first time to a Dickey’s. It was awesome. Love the walk up service. Everyone was friendly and the food was amazing. Sunday is kids eat free!

The only reason this place isn’t 5 Stars is its a little bit pricey. But the food is excellent and if its southern meat you want this is the place to go. The place is clean, well-laid out, and the staff is professionally friendly.

My would have 5 star review is now 1. First off at some point it seems like corporate came in, jacked up the prices and give out less meat. What used to be 35 bucks for me and my girlfriend is now over 40. The portions are pathetic it doesn’t even get us full anymore and the quality of food has gone down hill mostly dry meat. Now the issues with this particular location. They were out of many sides listed and looked like they were unprepared for the day. The coleslaw was watery and tasted like it was sitting for a couple of days. It was very unpleasant. The staff were not friendly unlike most Dickeys I’ve been to. This is a real disappointment especially since we are long time loyal customers of the chain.

Food is okay, nothing special, but it’s not bad either. The ribs had no smoke flavor, and the seasoning was good, but the meat tasted like it was seasoned immediately before cooking. The tenderness was perfect though, moist but not wet, meat held on the bone but peeled off easily with every bite.
Sides we’re okay as well. Beans were bland, ended up pouring sauce into them to get some flavor. Slaw was boring but crunchy. Again, texture was really good but the flavor was lacking.
Overall, I think it’s a good place for a quick lunch stop, but not if you’re looking for good BBQ.

Staff was great. Was so dark from the outside we thought they were closed. Food was cold and it was some of the toughest meats I have ever eaten. Green beans tasted like they had vinegar added to the liquid they were in. Sauces were pretty good as were the waffle fries and the Mac n cheese. Brisket had a soapy flavor to it.

The food was good here, the quantity wasn’t that great but it was quality food. I would give this location a five star rating if they improved two things one the cleanliness of the restaurant the glass was dirty the stainless steal was smudged, and most important the bathrooms were not frequently cleaned if you can’t wash your hands in a clean sink them your food will vary some of that. I was very appreciative of the staff other than the make America great again hat and 12 inch beard without a net politics and hair need to stay out of the food.

Went today and the food was FANTASTIC! The two young ladies working were awesome and friendly and just made the experience perfect. We drive 30 miles to get to this restaurant and are never disappointed. Those waffle fries are amazing and everything we got seemed exceptionally good. I don’t know how others can say bad things and I suppose that can happen but it hasn’t happened to us…each time has been good and we leave more than happy. Now…put one closer to Grand Blanc! 🙂
