As someone who lived in Texas for 14 years I was SUPER excited to see a Dickey’s. This is the second time we have been and both times we’re not to Dickey’s standards. The first time we chalked it up to a “learning curve” because they had just opened. Today it was subpar. The sausage was extra greasy and the pulled pork was ALL fat and gristle. There were like 3 actual pieces of pork in the pile. Super disappointing. The only thing that is authentic is the big yellow cup. Guess I will have to return to Texas to get ACTUAL quality BBQ.

Classic Sides, mustard potato salad, chopped slaw, and creamy mac & cheese hit the spot.
Sweet barbecue sauce had a little bit of tang, original was a little smoky.

Pulled pork combo for $10.99 … hard to beat for value. Restaurant also has full bar. I would recommend this restaurant. BBQ and spicy bbq are very tasty too. The fries are great, mac & cheese was a little disappointing, and pulled pork was very good.

Decent brisket and pulled pork. They are still working out the finer details of a good cashier/prep flow behind the counter, but definitely worth a stop in. They are adding a bar area (still in progress). Next time, I will skip the standard sauce as it has smoke flavor added, which I think always conflicts with real meat and/or real smoke flavor. Good customer service, and I will be back to try ribs and sausage!

We have been to the restaurant two times now and both times the food was good and staff was friendly.
We have tried the ribs (delicious and easily come off the bone) brisket (great charred top layer full of flavor) pulled pork (nice portions and good taste) turkey (best turkey I have had) and the chicken wings (kids asked for them both times). The sides were also good (fries, green beans, coleslaw and Mac n cheese) and the cornbread is a must try.
They are a new restaurant with local owners who are working hard to run a great business in the community. Glad they are here.

I stopped here with my wife for dinner. To be honest it wasn’t what I was expecting. I had a sit down get waited on experience in mind and not a deli stand order and find your own seat type of experience. Putting that aside the people and food were great but for me this will be a lunch stop in the future and not a dinner out with the wife.

Aside from ordering a pound if brisket for 32 dollars it was absolutely swimming in grease which is how they qualify it as a pound. My pulled pork and brisket looks like dogs breakfast digested twice. I don’t understand where these onions came from and what I THINK is the pulled pork is inedible as it looks like it fell on the floor and they picked up the fat and put it in my container. Just make your own food at home seriously. This was such a dissapointment for the first time ordering from this joke if a bbq place

We chose the meat plates, huge portions, Dan and his people really hustled, it’s a good sign when you walk in and smell the smoke, and see men waiting for their favorite dish. A great place to add in Talmadge. Super clean!

This is an outstanding place, especially if you love BBQ. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well as patient. Food was excellent and came out quickly. Prices are reasonable for this economy. I very much enjoyed my experience. Some of the best BBQ I have had. Easy to get to. I have not one complaint or improvement suggestion. As someone who maintained and cleaned large buildings for my career, this place is being cleaned extremely well. It may be a new space, but there is no slacking on the cleaning side. I will go back many times. And I will be taking carryout as well as dining in.
