Bought the 3 meat special, ribs, sliced and chopped brisket. I had the brisket chili(1 more dollar). The ribs(2) were small burnt and dried out. I paid 3 dollars for 1 extra rib(also burnt small and dried out). The brisket chili lacked flavor and was barely edible. Totally disappointed won’t be recommending this place to anyone.

I love to find restaurants that try to go outside the norm. There is a good mix of traditional here as well as creativity.

My initial impression was based on the dismal lighting when I walked in I thought they were closed. I thought I made a mistake coming here. The staff wasn’t as welcoming as I thought they should be.

I had to assert myself to get a recommendation. The gentleman behind the counter recommended the brisket. What an amazing choice it was. Flavor out the Ying yang and so moist! No sauce was needed for the meat.

I also had baked beans and green beans. Both had a special twist in flavor. The green beans were very peppery and set me off a bit at first. Then I realized I had eaten them all and I wanted more. The baked beans were slightly firmer than I’m used to. Spices were kicking and abundant. I loved both.

This place had an awkward start but I’ll recommend and revisit this location.

Quite literally some of the worst barbecue I’ve ever tasted. Just save your money. Never in my life have I had brisket that taste so dry. My ribs were so hard I couldn’t even chew them. Just wasted my money.stream beans were bland and the beans were okay just not my preference.

Upon entering this location the smell of good ol smoked ribs just smacks yah right in the face. Haven’t had Dickeyes in years and decided to give it a shot. I got the rib plate which consisted of 6 bones, 2 sides, and a dinner roll, a drink is NOT included in the meal. The ribs were ok along with the fresh out of the oil fries! However, the ribs were about room temperature and were not hot at all which wasn’t the norm at other locations so I was a little disappointed about that. I didn’t want to make a fuss about it.
To continue, from a customer’s view…. behind the counter is , ill let yall figure that part out. But it was a turn off and it actually did make me question whether or not if I actually wanted to eat my meal and what was the DPH score. I hope you guys have a moment and really go over some things behind the counter, especially the ceiling and floor. Sometimes it takes reviews like this to make a business take action.
I wish this location the best and hope you guys thrive in business but unfortunately I will not be back. Take care…….

Response to the owner, everything I’ve mentioned in the initial review is the problem. The cleanliness is a complete turn off. The food served needs to be higher than room temp, things like that. I hope you guys take these things into consideration.

I don’t know what they gave me but it wasn’t sliced brisket. I waited past my pickup time after scheduling an order early that morning for pickup that evening and was only given one of my plates I ordered. Then when I called back to let them know, they said they would make it so I could come back. I ended up going in after it was supposed to be a curbside order and they were looking through thrash trying to find the receipt when I could have just showed them the email.

Instead of making my order, they were trying to figure out what it was when I told him several times exactly what I ordered. Then when I asked for a refund instead of them making my missing food, he gave me back the change from ringing something else up because a 2 meat plate is more than the $16 and some change he gave me but I was just tired of explaining to two people who just didn’t get it. Now I’m mad because I tipped on a Togo order with horrible service and I’m out <$30 on some food I couldn't even eat.

I don’t know if this is pork or what but I didn’t eat it because this isn’t sliced brisket. The piece over to the right is what I picked up to look at but this is what I saw the first time I opened it up. They weren’t even busy. I came here after a recommendation and drove 40 mins from Dallas but I won’t be back. Ever.

First time eating at a Dickey’s BBQ. Nice staff, cozy “hole in the wall” feel. Had the two meat plate with Polish kielbasa and pulled pork. For sides ordered mac and cheese and a Caesar salad with sweet tea to drink. Everything was delicious. They have original, sweet and spicy BBQ sauces. I really enjoyed the spicy and the sweet. Will definitely be back.

Great meal at one of my favorite bbq smoke houses. They are the only ones I know of that has a polish sausage. And the brisket is AMAZING!!! Would recommend to anyone.

I’ll start off by sharing the things that I like at this restaurant. I like the brisket sandwich when they cut it not chop it and they don’t always cut it when you ask them to. You’ll receive a chopped brisket sandwich whether you like it or not. This was actually today. I like sweet tea, but it seems to be one of my only options when I go here every time I go for a carbonated beverage they are out of that drink or carbonation. I like sweet tea as much as the next guy, but sometimes I want something else, the ribs have been good. The last four times I’ve ordered a full slab and had no complaints. It’s usually a Ghost Town when I enter the restaurant some people may come in order and leave, but there’s something about the atmosphere that does not keep people around too long. Their okra is also very good.

Recap- likes/ brisket sliced, rack of ribs, and okra

Dislikes: service not slicing the brisket when asked. Only having sweet tea as an option for drink. Items not being available like wings or potatoes recently.

Your pork tacos are truly amazing. It’s tough to find even decent food in Georgia, but your tacos kick everyone else’s butts. (See what I did there?). Excellent ingredients mean excellent food. Keep it up and advertise more..
