Lets kill the elephant in the room, the Brisket it was just ok, the meat was kinda dry and the BBQ sauce helped a little , the Mac n cheese was ok, the garlic bread was only toasted on one side. Now the Sweet Potatoe fries were the star the helped them, they were really good. The people were super friendly and the atmosphere was really nice..

Really good old school flavor BBQ. But what do I know? I know enough that it tastes really good. Well worth the stop. Actually I think you get more for your money at Dickey’s than anywhere else in town. I had the brisket and turkey 2 meat platter. Both meats were excellent and all the sides were great. Had the pecan pie to round things off. I have to say they gave me an exceptionally nice end piece of brisket. The best way I could describe it was, Rich. Just intense meat and fire and smoke and sauce and more ands than I have Oxford commas. The people working behind the counter were busting their butts to get everyone their meals. They were doing a good job as I didn’t have to wait long at all, rather pretty quickly. The restaurant is in a strip mall parking lot so you first kind of get a fast food impression. However, it’s really the furthest thing from fast food because it takes a long time to smoke meat this good. Anyhow, I’m no BBQ expert by any means but I have to think that Dickey’s has to be some of the best you can get. Stop at Dickey’s, I don’t think they get the credit they deserve. Thank you!

Just got my order from uber eats. I’m literally 2 minutes from this place so I expected it to be warm at best. Wasn’t even close and over driver came directly to me. The potato salad tasted like it came out a grocery store and someone added too much mustard to dr it up. Macaroni was bland and soupy. Fried okra looked and tasted as if it’s fried in old grease. Turkey was 3 small pieces of bland meat tasted like grocery store turkey and I. Really had hope for the brisket. It was so dry I put bbq sauce on it and it still was bland. Nothing on my plate tasted like it came from a bbq house more like a cafeteria. The side of pickles were good.

The food was good. Kids eat free on Sundays which is great! Free ice cream when you dine in too! Most of the menu pictures are out of date. I took these pictures on 9/14/25 so hopefully that helps.

I was in the mood for some ribs. Came by Dickey’s because I’ve heard they have great ribs. They must be really good because they were out of them. That was the whole reason why I went there was to try the ribs. I understand with all the food shortage and not finding people to work, is why I didn’t lower star rate. I was also disappointed there was no more sweet tea. This is the south that’s what we drink with our BBQ. The staff was friendly the food was OK. The chicken wings were small and dry. I like the thick juicy wings. I’m not sure were the smoke flavor went in the beef brisket there was no flavor at all but you could tell it was smoked because of the smoke ring. The pulled pork was over cooked in my opinion. It was dry and somewhat chalk like texture. With all that being said take into consideration I did go an hour before they closed so the stuff I got could have been in warmers all day. I’m pretty sure if I would togo around lunch the food would be better and they would have ribs and sweet tea.

Update- They have daily lunch specials that are economical. Apparently, Dickey’s also has discounts when you order online. Busy today with the 3 rib plate special, and you could choose 2 sides, and a drink comes with it. The special price was $12.50
Overall, the food wasn’t bad. We will come here again. It’s quick and convenient to where we were staying! Looks like they have been in business a long time and have a catering business as well!

In town from Baltimore, and we no longer have any Dickies nearby, so coming here was a treat. Super friendly and welcoming staff, and of course…great food! We really enjoyed it! Just the way we remembered it. Highly recommend the Westerner sandwich with chicken and spicy sausage, couple onions and spicy sauce! Wow! Keep up the great work ladies!

Ordered thru Door Dash which unfortunately doesn’t provide a good means to register complaints nor get refund on anything inedible. The ribs were too over done making them very hard and not meaty. I got maybe 2 or 3 bites at most which was a shame because the flavor was good. The brisket sandwich was a 1inch thick slab of meat on soggy roll. We had to take meat off sandwich and slice. The end of the meat slice was hard, just like the ribs so apparently the meats stay in the roaster way too long. The fries and fried okra were in a white paper bag and they were soggy and had to be redeemed to some degree by putting in our air fryer along with soggy bread that was called “toast”! I hate paying good money for food then have to fix it up myself like we did with the brisket, fries, okra and so called “toast” but unfortunately there wasn’t much that could be done to salvage the crunchy ribs!! The mac & cheese was acceptable and the 2 slices of chicken were good but otherwise a sad representation for a restaurant.

I always enjoy the food from Dickies. My favorite meat is the pulled pork along with their original bbq sauce. The sides are yummy too and I really like their bread. The staff are very friendly as well.

This locality owned place was absolutely amazing. We stopped on a rainy Sunday just on a short Google search, and it was a great surprise. The owners where present and waited on us. Serves was awesome, but food was even better. Very reasonable priced but definitely well worth it. We will definitely be back
