The restaurant is fun and clean. Very impressed with the decor and art displayed – you don’t usually see that anywhere, not to mention a casual dining place. The lady in charge of the front and serving us that day was very friendly. Food was yummy and tasted fresh – even my elderly Chinese parents liked it. We had some fish tacos and the coconut shrimps – they were cooked perfectly. We were also given 3 different salsas, and I was grateful of that, because it usually means they are serious about perfecting their tacos.

We fell in love with their fish tacos during the pandemic ordering from their food truck over on Zaragoza. This is our first visit to their restaurant. The place is cute and comfortable! Had lunch and it honestly was the best! Big shout out to Nadine the owner (and her amazing cooks!), she was amazing, very helpful, kind, very welcoming and all together great vibes.
We started off with the Shrimp Alfredo fries. Sooo good, buttery and full of garlic, and parm!!!
I got the shrimp tacos combo which comes with two tacos (Topped with shredded cabbage, tomatoes, red onion, housemade crema and mild salsa. And of course served with lime ), a side (I got the crab Mac), and a drink. I love shrimp tacos, and these were amazing!!!!
My boyfriend got the Surf n Turf burrito (that thing was HUGE!!!!) Full of delicious flavors… rice, beans, carne Asada, fried shrimp, salsa, creama, cilantro, and onion.
The vibe was good, loved the decor around the store.
If y’all haven’t been, I highly highly recommend that you do, you will NOT be disappointed!
We will most definitely be back!!!

DDLP has absolutely the best fish tacos in town! I miss the food truck days where hanging outside with our little set up was the experience but the food continues to be amazing and the menu has gotten even better!

Have followed business for sometime food is exceptional definitely not a el paso style food concept, delicious. But don’t arrive at the posted time they open, not a inviting feeling, young lady taking order may have been having a bad day. Not much help with suggestions and menu options. But again in this town it’s pretty common.

Great experience at Día de los Pescados. The seafood was fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, prices were fair, and the service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, making it a great spot for lunch or dinner. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to and recommending to others.

I finally tried Dia de los Pescados and honestly it felt like one of those spots you randomly find and instantly add to your regular rotation. The fish tasted fresh, the flavors were on point, and everything came out hot and fast. You can tell they actually care about the food they’re serving, not just pushing plates out.
What stood out to me most was how welcoming it felt — not fancy, just real and comfortable. The kind of place where you can sit down, enjoy good seafood, and leave full and happy. Definitely one of those places I’ll keep coming back to and recommending to friends whenever they ask where to get good fish tacos.

I was not going to put anything because my boyfriend really likes this place. But we waited for 40 minutes to be serve and the people that show up 35 minutes after us. Got serve first. Probably owner it’s going to said maybe they asked for something faster on the menu. But they serve a table of 6 people before us. The cashier was super friendly and nice. And you can tell she was overwhelmed with the restaurant orders, and online orders. She was trying her best. And she was doing a great job. Maybe you guys should have more people working on a Sunday, or maybe you guys should tell your costumer, that the restaurant is actually empty but they have online orders and the food is going to take longer and then the costumer decides to leave or stay. I’m understanding that now in these days a lot of people order online and there are bad costumer but taking close to 45 mins to not have our food ready and serve the other table that had less that 5 minutes sitting down, I don’t think is professional. Probably my boyfriend would go back because he likes the food, and would never go back and if someone asks me about the place I will just say nothing, I don’t think there is nothing special about the menu.
