Still good pizza and wings. Did the crab pizza again and this time added pepperoni mushroom and meatball pizza. They forgot the meatballs but did put extra sauce on the chicken. We’re excited to try the lemon cake. No photo, forgot to take one.
Original:
Saw they had crab pizza and wanted to give it a try. I absolutely loved their food. The crab pizza is really good, but the crust was heavily undercooked.
The meatball sub had all the flavors but no flavoring. I added some oregano, garlic, and pepper flakes and it was fantastic. The boneless wings were exactly as I wanted them.
10/10
They provided a generous spread. Everything was a hit. The meatballs were tender and full of flavor, the chicken piccata was perfectly cooked w/a bright tangy sauce, the eggplant rollatini was one of the best we ever had. the garlic knots and salad were fresh and delicious.
The food arrived on time, and was clear that care went into every dish. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the meal. Milton you were awesome. Thank you.
However, I do not consume pork, so I always confirm ingredients before ordering meat dishes. On three separate occasions, I found a piece of pepperoni on a cheese pizza, which clearly indicates repeated cross-contamination in the kitchen.
I have specifically ordered lasagna and pasta al forno in the past because staff and the menu indicated the meat was beef. However, when I recently asked staff to double-check, they first reassured me it was beef, then after confirming with the chef came back and explained that pork is in fact mixed into the meat, saying it was only “a little.”
For customers who avoid pork for religious or dietary reasons, any amount matters. Being told it is only “a little” misses the point. Customers should be able to rely on accurate ingredient information and trust that even a simple cheese pizza will not contain meat or pork.
Because this has happened multiple times, I can no longer order from here, which is very disappointing given how much we used to enjoy their food. I hope management improves ingredient transparency and kitchen practices so customers can order with confidence in the future.
