Contemporary Vietnamese cuisine served in a hip, minimalist space with lots of greenery.

Spectacular dinner.
Very authentic and much more to the menu than just Pho.
We ordered the sizzling fish for two, and it was perfect. The very fresh tasting fish and herbs complimented each other very well. Also a fun experience of putting the ingredients together and eating it in your own bowl.
The rice cake omelette was also amazing. A little small, but amazing texture.

Really cool and inviting space. I think most people eat here because of the open table credit. We got there at 11:55 but they open at 12 and they calmly told us they aren’t open yet. That’s cool and all but their sign was flipped to open which is why we went in. The host was also oblivious of who came in first because he just kept seating whoever rushed to him first while we were in first in the designated waiting area.
The appetizers I think are the most enjoyable part of the restaurant. There’s definitely a unique take on the fish sauce with the chicken salad.
For the price, this may be the most mediocre pho I’ve ever had. It is the top 5 in the chewiest beef. It looks like it was frozen and they just tried to rip it apart. It just look all mangled. The broth was nice and clear but no real deep flavors. Almost tasted like the chicken pho broth but I already expected that one to be a bit bland.
Ordered a fish entree that took about 30 minutes to come out after our pho. While we all finished eating, our friend was sadly salivating watching us. Definitely need to figure out the logistics there.
Service was a bit mixed. At one point they kept coming every 5 minutes to try take to take our plates away and all the extra sauces (Ginger scallion for the chicken pho, fish sauce for the spring rolls) and we were not finished yet. At another point I couldn’t find anyone for ten minutes.
The hearty selections are something I would recommend here but… how are you a viet restaurant serving $30 beef pho and have chewy beef.

Really average food with extremely small portion for upscale prices. Realistically the only thing upscale about this place are the prices.
3 pieces of spring roll is a joke and tastes the same as most authentic pho places in the city.
Grilled pork was too burnt and bit flavorless. Pho had not much flavor with few slices of overcooked beef. The only thing good / special was papaya salad had a crispy thing on the side.
Suggested tip was on top of taxes too.

I visited Di an Di on a Saturday afternoon for lunch after hearing many great recommendations, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The food was excellent and a great value. We started with the spring rolls, which were fresh and flavorful, then shared the fish for two—truly outstanding. We also ordered the papaya salad, which I highly recommend; it was crunchy and refreshing without the overwhelming spice you often find in Thai versions.
The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, with plenty of seating and a few high tables. We arrived without a reservation and were seated right away. Overall, it was a wonderful lunch experience, and I’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I were in the area and wanted to try out the restaurant since I was craving for Vietnamese food. The restaurant is nice and warm atmosphere. We ordered Dua colada, red boat special martini, Banh Mi+Pho combo and the Nem Nuong. The drink is not balanced. I don’t know if the bartender even tried before she served it. Dua colada is not good. I couldn’t even drink it. The vietnamese coffee martini tastes weird with the fish sauce. I had drink with fish sauce before but this one doesn’t go well with it. Banh Mi Heo Quay is not heo quay. Everything is just average, nothing is outstanding or special. We even ordered the grilled pork rice to bring home. And the most disappointing thing is the meat is raw. I am pregnant and if I didn’t cut it before I ate, I would swallow the raw meat before I even knew. I wanted to give feedbacks so you can work better on your food. Please make sure to check the drink and food before serving.

After coming back from Vietnam (Hanoi, Da Nang, & Saigon). I feel a type of way about boutique Vietnamese food. Food is good, no doubt about it. But as Vietnamese I have a profound fundamental issue with pho being 20 dollars. Pho is war time peasant food but I digress.
Great service, decent atmosphere, but yeah.. if you’re viet you know how I feel.

It was northern style food, the platter was the best (sausage), omelette was interesting and would skip the pork chop rice next time.
Would recommend making a reservation so you don’t have to sit outside!

Delicious, light and healthy food. The chicken pho was great, with delicious noodles and fresh, soft chicken. Papaya salad was fresh. The tofu was crisp outside and soft inside, perfectly cooked. The drinks were strong with good alcohol content.

My partner said it best, it’s white people pho. The noodles were not proper pho noodles and lacked a certain taste. The portions looked big but it was hidden from the soup. Extra noodles cost 4 more dollars and they weren’t even a lot. The vibe is nice, at first you like it and then you realize it’s a little wonky and strange as you eat. The bathrooms were very clean and nice. I also had no issues with the service. The egg dish I had was very good. It’s just not a proper Vietnamese restaurant. If you’re ever in Syracuse go to new century. 10/10

I would say this is a fusion kind of Vietnamese food, in a good way though. The pho has a nice broth but the beef is not for me. Sizzling fish was delicious, as well as the tapioca dessert. The flavor is clean. Cute interior and the staffs were nice and friendly.
