Tried Dhamaka Indian Street Food in Clayton and honestly, it lives up to the name
If you’re missing proper Indian street food flavours, this place will hit home. The triple schezwan fried rice was easily the standout — spicy, smoky and full of flavour. The Baroda-style sev usal was another favourite, super comforting and packed with masala.
The chilli potato was nicely crispy with that desi-style heat, chhole kulche felt like pure comfort food, and the classic cheese sandwich gave proper old-school street vibes. Ending it all with chai just felt right.
It’s a great spot for late-night cravings, casual catch-ups, or when you just want something familiar and satisfying. Definitely worth a visit if you’re around Clayton and craving Indian street food.

We ordered veg fried rice with a specific requirement of less spicy. Kids really enjoyed the dish finished it. We followed it up with veg noodles and lassi. The place is nice and the food and ambience is really nice for the name -“street food”.

We had a great experience at Dhamaka Restaurant! The food was delicious and portions were generous. The Chole Bhature were soft and fluffy with perfectly spiced chole. The Noodle Burger was a fun twist and tasted amazing. The Triple Grilled Sandwich was filling and cheesy, perfect for sharing. We also tried the Schezwan Rice with Gravy, which was full of flavour and had the right amount of spice.
Overall, a wonderful place for tasty food with variety. Highly recommend!
