We were able to be seated immediately… just barely beating the dinner rush. We chose to dine here based on their advertisement/support of the high school swim & dive team. My swimmer and I enjoyed our food and wait staff. The lower atmosphere grade comes from the cold draft that didn’t seem to stop as other patrons came and went. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

After cleaning the truck and horse trailer, Min and I stopped in at Dexter’s Pub (Dexter, Michigan) for breakfast. Min was dubious but the other breakfast restaurant had a 20 minute wait, so into the pub we went. OMG, food was 10 out of 10. Min waxed enthusiastically claiming it was one of the best breakfasts she ever had. She had Huevos Rancheros that was beyond better than any she’d ever had. I ordered a spinach and mushroom omelet. It came with perfectly done hash browns and locally baked artisan bread. The waitress was so cheerful and accommodating. The pub doesn’t have coffee drinks, just regular coffee; however, since we wanted a mocha she added chocolate syrup to the coffee and brought us a cup of milk to add to our taste. Apparently, though they have a regular menu, the brunch menu is offered on weekends and will be different each weekend. They obviously go above and beyond to make it great.

Excellent’e servico! Jessey performed at the highest caliber in his execution and delivery! The food was fabulouso! Lobster rav was exquisite and we even did a switch of ingredients on the chix rap and that was so mouth watering we had to order alcohol to wash it down! A truly unforgettable experience!

Lively pub with some great burgers. Beers were tasty. You could tell this was a locals place where everyone knew your name. Me not being local I didn’t quite get the jovial attention they got but I didn’t mind. I saw lots of people laughing and the bartender smiling when they interacted with them. Service was still friendly and could watch multiple sports events while enjoying a beer. Had the shrooms burger and it was great with the fries. Best fries I’ve had since I’ve been up here.

Absolutely wonderful meal and drinks. I’m from a small town and this pub is reminiscent of my home bar. The owner is delightful and staff are wonderful. Shout out to the amazing chef!!! The food was impeccable. I had the brunch hippie hash with vegan chorizo while my partner had the fish and chips. The vegan chorizo was amazing and full of flavor that really connected the wholesome veggies which were so fresh! The fish and chips were crispy and the tartar sauce was the right kind of tangy and creamy delicious addition. Don’t forget about the crunchy coleslaw that I stole from my partner. I could not have been more impressed and we will absolutely be back. The small town vibes with real food is the most beautiful and authentic experience that I, as a small town woman, in a kinda bigger town craves for. Thank you so much for being a great business and see you soon! Especially cause there was cheesecake we missed 🙁

Generally one of our go to restaurants in a Friday night for family dinner. We are regulars and the pub is one of our favorites in town. Last night was disappointing – bread that came with the shrimp scampi was burnt and the chicken nachos were more like a taco salad, very little chicken and the chips were just crumbs. Made the waiter aware and nothing was addresses. Hopefully they can do better.

We had a very good dinner with very good service. We had brisket and avocado sandwich, Turkey Ruben and a special beef stroganoff. Everything was excellent and the portion sizes were good. The restaurant and rest rooms were very clean.
Sept 2025 – had another nice dinner, the food was ok this time but our waiter, Tyler, was awesome and made our dinner special.

Update 6/26/24: A busy Wednesday night at the Pub – we waited about a half hour for a booth inside. Phenomenal service and good food; cold beer and the best ranch for dipping those tasty fries in. We will continue to drive from Whitmore to come here.

2022 Frickles aka Fried Pickles and tried the Brisket and Avocado sandwich! Highly recommend both!
