chefs are incredibly creative in the kitchen. With the desire to serve you with uncompromising taste. The ingredients they use are fresh and I love it so much.Every dish on the menu is cooked with a dash of love, and a spoonful of flavors.
The food was so delicious that i eat all of it.:p specially the chutnneys which came along with the food they were like mind blowing and I am completely blown away by the food.
The ambiance of the place is very good. It is fit for family & friends. The menu is vivid and there are lot of options. They also include some innovative items like Pizza Uttapam & Cheese Rawa Dosa etc. One added value is their customer service. The cost is around Rs.400 to 500 for two.
The staff is very courteous and they make you feel totally at home! The owners are also always there and they pay attention to all the little details also to make sure your visit is enjoyable.Post COVID-19 regulations were up to point as I personally saw their hygiene and cleanliness is maintained on point. One of the best things about this restaurant is that it is really pocket-friendly. Overall, my experience was great and I would love to recommend this everyone.Stay Healthy!! :))

Avoid the paneer kheema dosa as its more of Schezwan chilli paneer dosa. Chutneys are not great either. Idly was fluffy. Cockroaches around the restaurant. Hygiene is definitely not something they care about. Uttapam is chewy and more like a pizza dough than being fluffy and soft. They don’t serve RO water. Only option is to buy mineral bisleri bottle water. For the pricing, I would recommend going other reputed south indian restaurants who offer better quality, hygiene and flavours.

The service at Chennai Square is exceptional, with attentive staff who are passionate about sharing their love for South Indian cuisine. They are always happy to provide recommendations and ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience.

In addition to the delectable food and impeccable service, Chennai Square also offers a cozy ambiance, making it the perfect spot for everything from intimate dinners to lively gatherings with friends and family.
We took rava onion masala dosa, Hakka chow dosa, fresh lime soda. I am not a fan of fusion food so Hakka chow was so so but rava dosa was too good.

Amazing food. Great Service. Good ambience.
I tried paper dosa, onion masala dosa, sambar dipped vada, and masala vada. All the items were really tasty. Chutney and Sambar was authentic. I have been to South India and tried dosas there as well, but I found this one somewhat better than what I’ve tried there.

Chennai Square is located on the fourth floor of Carnival cinemas building at Salt Lake Sector 3.
They offer some amazing South Indian food options, their USP is the unique chutneys they give along with the traditional ones. The Mango Chutney is one of a kind. I am someone who hardly tries South Indian food but I absolutely loved their food.

Items tried :
•Mast Fried Malgapodi Mini Idlis
•CS Paw Bhaji Sizzler (Strongly Recommended)
This is a absolute must try from here. Tasted so good.
•Orange Soda Blaster
This was refreshing & fizzy & helped to gulp down everything.
•Signature Pizza Dosa (Recommended).

Do you wanna try some authentic south Indian food? Chennai square is the one for me and surely be for you even, just give it a try. The restaurant has come up with some unique style of preparing the south Indian food with a blend of different spices which is why it makes them unique from the rest.

⏺️AMBIENCE : The ambience looks good it has some wooden finishing on the wall & they have a cabinet type seating arrangement. The restaurant can accomdate approx 50 members.

⏺️FOOD : Firstly, they offered us with a complimentary drink which was served in a very unique way they had a small glass made up of ice nd the drink was served inside it.

CS signature Upma – I was here to try out this famous south indian breakfast. So basically it a preparation or sooji or semolina. It was cooked to perfection with a lips smacking nd a mouthwatering aroma.
Cheese Burst Dosa – This was one of their signature dish, the masala inside the Dosa was well cooked the Mayo which was oozing out made it more delecious, on top the Dosa was well grated with cheese & beet root. I would highly recommend you to taste this one out

Mysore Malgapodi idli – This was the another delicious dish which we tried out a big fat Idli which was topped with gunpowder & Desi ghee . The thing I loved the most was that the Idli was very soft nd tasted very good. The gunpowder was took this dish to another level.

Mumbai bhaji Dosa – Simple Nd tasty the flavour gave the taste as if I was eating pav bhaji. Must try dish

At the end we were served their complimentary deserts which was made up of butter cream something very unique nd it was very impressive. Overall it was a very good experience one more thing I would like to add the staff who was serving us the food was well versed with the dishes which impressed me.
As we all knw south Indian dishes require a good package for delivery so that the chutney & the sambar don’t ooze out keeping those things in mind the restaurant has come up with a proper packing for home delivery.

Chennai Square is a South Indian cuisine restaurant that is located in Salt Lake in the same building of the carnival cinemas. They serve pure veg South Indian food and definitely the food is really really good full stop the presentation is majestically done and the Ambience is really soothing. What had we ordered? Are as follows:
Crisp Mini Fried Idlis: mini and fluffy idlis deep fried and served with a variety of chutneys ans Sambhar.
Idliyapam: Mini Idlies made in the procedure of appams was a classic South Indian fusion of two of their extremely famous dishes.
CS Signature Idli Sizzlers: this was my favourite dish out of the lot where idlies were fried tossed into a sauce and then served in a silver platter along with the buttery burn sound and a few french fries on top.
Crust Onion Uttapam: uttapam that was overloaded with onion was one of the best uttapams that I’ve ever tasted from any South Indian cuisines full stop the sides were Crisp and the middle was soft and delicious.
Signature Dahi Vada Chaat: Lentil vadas that were dipped into the sour curd and topped with some sweet chutneys and some pomegranate seeds.
CS Mini Idlis: this idlies was small in size of the usual ones and were extremely fluffy and delicious. Literally loved how it tasted with the variety of chutneys which were of coconut, peanut and the sambar.
CS Rawa Idlis: large size idlies that were made with rava and had dry cashew nuts inside it tasted really good it didn’t have the usual sour taste of the common Idlis.
CS Baked Cheese Burst Paw Bhaji: the bhaji your was soft inside the pav where they had made a cut where the bhajis can be poured.
CS Dahi Idli Chaat: making a fusion of the dahi vada along with the idli to serve as a dahi idli chaat was completely a new concept that I came across full stop the taste all the wasn’t disappointing at all. The idlies were large and fluffy and the sour taste of the dahi added an extra punch to it.
Chennai square is an amazing restaurant and is totally pure vegetarian and is worth a visit for all those who love the South Indian cuisine they cook with such perfection and the flavours are such authentic that you drool into the flavours of South India.
