Dex’s Depot, oh man, let me tell ya!!! The wife and I went there for dinner the other night, and it was great! It felt like the old days, service was great and the pizza was even better! The home made sauce was plentiful and delicious. As well the sears tower pizza was piled high with meat and flavor.
The wife had a sloppy joy and she was very pleased with it as well.
Finally we started with an order of the honey bourbon fries, and those too were super tasty. We will be going back and I recommend anyone looking for some amazing pizza to do the same.

The service isn’t super fast but you won’t be disappointed with the food. Excellent burgers, salad and sweet potatoes with a hint of cinnamon and sugar that were amazing with the spicy ranch. Definitely will be back here to sit on the deck with the beautiful water view while enjoying some amazing food and a cold drink. Feels like I’m on vacation.

First and last time there. Food was marginal and some of it barely warm. We were charged for 5 buffets and only 4 of us had it. My dad had gluten free pancakes and was charged full buffet price. Then there were some people in there making a horrible noise and disrupting everyone. Even waitress apolgized but nothing was said to the people. So, won’t go back!!!!!

First time here and the inside is authentic and very comfortable. We got a new waitress who was subpar. Asked for sweet tea which is on the menu so I am thinking it’s already sweetened NOPE I was told there is sweetener on the table. My Ruben bread was soggy like it sat waiting for other food to get done. I do have one positive their sweet potatoe fries are amazing. I will be back but I hope I get real southern sweet tea.

My boyfriend and I have tried Dex’s three times, and we really want to like it. Sadly, we were disappointed each time. The food is very hit or miss as is the service. There is generally one person in our family that is happy with their meal, and others who find it almost inedible. Two times we have come in for specials advertised on Facebook only to find out that the special wasn’t happening. The staff is very nice, but also very slow. I hope they can pull it together and get some consistency in their food and service, but we are unlikely to be back.

The posts on Facebook of the food and drinks looked amazing, but actually being there wasn’t what it seemed it’d be. The service was fine nothing exceptional. My wife’s sprite had four seeds at the bottom. I had zero complaints with our waitress who was also the bartender and also the host basically she was everything but the cook. Our chips and salsa was ok, but the chips were burnt along with my sweet potato fries. We were the only family dining in and everyone else was playing poker. The beer tasted great. My wife said she only took a few bites of her burger and it didn’t taste good at all. My burger only came with one bun at the bottom because she said it’s a messy burger and would use a fork to eat it LOL. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you have other options. We still had an ok time and were happy we tried it out but won’t ever go back.

I have never had anything bad from this place. They have the best food this side of the Mississippi. The owners are fantastic people, and they are extremely family friendly.

I don’t know how anyone can like the food here – it is uninspired, flavorless and in one case (breakfast) downright disgusting. I, like others, had wanted to like this place as a new local eatery is always a good thing, but have been disappointed every time. Oh, and to the guy that thinks these reviews are left with “, …no indication the person has eaten the food or anything like that”, I could say the same about the positive reviews. That is the dumbest statement I’ve read in quite a while!

I have had multiple different things here and I am never disappointed. Today was the hobo basket. Lots if pieces of chicken, more than an appetizer! Perfectly cooked. And the fried pickles! Not little discs like at other places, these were deep fried spears! Amazing!
