With Kyjs bakery gone, a good strawberry shortcake is hard to find. Well, Devour makes them – and theirs is excellent. Loaded with strawberries and full of flavor, this cake is almost as good as the strawberry shortcake my Ukrainian mother used to make. Highly recommend!

I got my daughter’s sweet 16 birthday cake from here and I have to say I am extremely happy with how everything turned out. From the simplicity of the design to the flavor. Everything was perfect!! I showed Michelle inspo pictures and she was able to make it happen exactly how she wanted it. They boxed it up securely which made it easy and less stressful for my 30 minute commute. Overall I am very happy with their services and look forward to doing business with them in the future

I have to RAVE about our wedding cake from Devour Desserts !!! We had the best time every step of the way picking out our wedding cake !! We did our tasting “to-go” so that we could taste & decide in the comfort of our own home & everyone there was so helpful & amazing !! We went with chocolate chip cake & cannoli icing, DELICIOUS !!! We had to leave a review ASAP because everyone has been talking about how amazing the cake looks and tastes !!!! It was ALMOST too beautiful to cut !!! Thank you Devour Desserts for the most perfect wedding cake for the most perfect day !!!!

Congratulations! This is going to be your permanent go to for party/special occasion deserts. With generous varieties and fair prices for the awesome quality you receive you will be wondering why you never started going here sooner. Too many parties of the past the cake served as more of a decoration than a staple dish that everyone couldn’t get enough of. Devour will have people addicted to it in just a bite.
Here is some extra credit too! Went in for a pre made cake for a birthday and grabbed it from the fridge not looking too hard at the cake but the baker putting the writing on discovered some condensation on the icing and would not allow that cake to be sold ensuring that their high standards are met! This business is admirable!

Prices on shelf don’t match what they charge at checkout. So I go into the store and decide I want to buy some chocolate covered strawberries. It says six chocolate covered strawberries for $15. I get to the cash register and she tells me that the chocolate covered strawberries are $18. When I asked her how much tax was being applied to the chocolate-covered strawberries she tells me that it’s not the taxes the price is actually $18. I explained to her again that the price where the chocolate covered strawberries are located clearly says six chocolate-covered strawberries for $15. She then proceeds to tell me her manager just hasn’t changed the prices to stuff yet. I told her that that’s false advertisement because if it’s telling me $15 and you’re charging me $18 it’s false advertisement. She then offered to give me my money back instead of honoring the shelf’s price. Needless to say I would never recommend anyone to come here or I won’t be back. For those people who don’t pay attention to what the shelf price says versus what they’re charging this place is getting over on people.

This is one of our favorite dessert shops in Delco, so naturally we ordered our wedding cake from here! We wanted a small, delicious cake for our elopement and it did not disappoint! I ordered online a little over a week in advance – so easy! Misty called me to make sure that the message we requested was okay to not physically be on the cake. We ordered the strawberry crunch cheesecake flavor and were not willing to sacrifice the flavor, so we agreed to this. I appreciated the heads up AND I was thankful that we ended up with what we did because it was even better than the smaller piece I had bought in the store when deciding what flavor to choose. We expected to have leftovers because of how small our wedding was, but we did not! Each of our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the cake was. Even the picky eaters were happy! Thank you Misty and team for helping make our big day memorable 🙂

Devour is one of the best local dessert bakeries I have ever had! They are consistent and each bite taste as good as the first. The ‘Fudge Whip Tower’ is to die for! Rich, flavorful and of course sweet! The staff is friendly when you go in to pick up or see what they have out for the day. 10/10 would recommend to anyone with a ragging sweet tooth!

Devour Desserts did our wedding cake. The planning process was easy. Michelle was such a huge help and very easy to coordinate with. The cake was absolutely delicious and beautiful. It was exactly what we envisioned. So many of our guests complimented the cake and asked where it was from. Highly recommend!!!

Finally found a bakery in Delco that has a really good italian rum cake.
You can get a full cake or a small portion, bought them both and they were delicious. Friendly atmosphere
And very clean shop.

We have been going to Devour Desserts for a few months and their celebration cakes are always great. Tonight we ordered a specialty cake and cake pops for my daughter’s Sweet 16. They knocked it out of the park!! The cake design was so beautiful and the chocolate cake was delicious – so moist and with chocolate chip filling it was a mouthful of heaven! We also got vanilla cake pops that matches the cake and we’re so yummy! We highly recommend Devour Desserts any time you need a cake.
