Heard great things, was not disappointed. I had the cheese chili dog and a Christmas special “Grinch” dog. The fries were crunchy and hot, just like you want them. I was not aware that they have their own “Chicago” style dog. I would have ate that having known but 2 filled me up. I’m sure the place stays busy. Happy New Year!

The best dogs we’ve had in a long, long time. Haven’t had a big grilled dog that good since before Max’s was sold. Grilled to perfection, my chili cheese dog was delicious. My husband had a plain dog and added his favorite toppings. The men behind the counter were super friendly! It’s a nice clean little luncheonette. We will be back!

We’re always on the lookout for an Italian hot dog place comparable to the north Jersey giants. When my dad said he wanted hot dogs, I mentioned there was a couple of new places around. With the one being closed already, DeVito’s it was! A cute little eat in area with a view of the grill and fryer greets you. The floor is yellow and red like mustard and ketchup (purposeful? We wondered…). Decided on two DeVito’s dogs (Italian style hot dogs) and an order of fries. Had to wait a little for peppers and onions to fry up, but always willing to wait for something fresh! The cook (and I’m assuming owner) listened to my dad talk about north Jersey hot dog joints and was jovial, joking around with us and counter woman was very pleasant. Got the food home, and was impressed. Delicious, large portions. Potatoes and fries cooked to crispy and everything else cooked perfectly. Only minor complaint is could have used some salt/seasoning on veggies/potatoes. We will definitely be back, though! Absolutely worth every penny.

Absolutely delicious. My friend treated me to lunch and it was a good, snappy dog. , bread was fresh as can be, onions and peppers seared to perfection. Cheese fries delectable.
Staff was friendly and upbeat. They take pride in the place and it shows.

Im a huge picky eater and this place is my new favorite! It hits EVERY TIME!!! The rodeo burger is PACKED with flavor and the cheese fries are BOMB! the chips she makes homemade are the best if you are lucky enough to nab some of those! And going next door to shop after is always fun! Their Milkshakes are awesome for a sweet treat at the end!

I got the devito’s burger and grilled chicken sandwich. Delicious!!!! The size of this burger is bigger than your regular burger. My kids love the grilled chicken sandwich and the crispy onion rings with honey mustard sauce .If you’re in the area definitely try Devito’s!!! Can’t wait to try their hotdogs soon.

Made the hour trip down to DeVito’s Dogs & Grille in Port Monmouth and glad I did! Great dogs on a flat grill (Windmill style), great fries (an overflowing box of krinkle cut) and great service and pricing. The place was spotless and owner was super nice and friendly. Highly recommended! I will be back.

I haven’t had an Italian hot dog this good in … I can’t even remember. The pizza bread was super soft/fresh, came with green pepper/onion and fresh cut fried potato slices. Also got a bag of salt and vinegar chips on the house (choice of BBQ/salt & vinegar/plain), made fresh by the owner’s wife this morning! I’m going to check out their ribeye cheesesteaks next time. Chicago Dog looks great, too.
