Got their amazingly delicious catfish basket that came with perfect coleslaw, 2 hush puppies, and fries. Pic is after 1/2 way thru the meal. The breading & flavoring of the catfish is soooo good!

Detroit Original Seafood Truck was at our event yesterday and it was fantastic food! I ordered double lobster and crab bites with a side of chicken strips- It was out of this world good!!
The really exceptional part of this is the panko, the light breading. Not only is it delish, it must be non gmo because later on I had no issues with belly swelling. Love Love ❤️ Love this food.

It was my first try! I heard all about the seafood but not enough funds for that on this day, so I tried the chicken tenders & fries. It came with some delicious coleslaw! Just sweet enough! the tenders had the right amount of spice. YUMmy! The fries were even tasty. It also came with a couple of hushpuppies that were quite flavorful! Their service was fast, fresh & hot!I can’t wait to try their seafood! I will report back! Until then, go check these brothers out!

While I can’t review the food, I can review the service. I have a gluten allergy, and before finalizing a sale on orange roughy, the young lady called around to see if I could eat the fish. Luckily I had mentioned my allergy.
Turns out I couldn’t, as it wasn’t just cornmeal in the mix.
I’m eternally grateful for her care and concern for my wellbeing. I highly suggest patronizing this food truck. They really care.

The truck was down in the alley, and service was super slow. I ordered a catfish basket, and I took 2 bites of it, and it was uncooked and slimy. The cashier lady was understanding; however, the cooks were young and lacked maturity when I asked for a different type of fish. I waited 30 minutes to get my original basket. This is a serious issue as this could have been food poisoning. The fried okra lacked flavor. The fried green tomatoes were excellent and tasy, but were only given 4 for the price. My friend and I had to ask for napkins and silverware, in which an attitude was given in turn.

tried them for the first time last weekend with my husband and omg i was pleasantly surprised. i was undecided on what to get and just ordered the shrimp. i wish i would’ve ordered the crab bites cause i just know they would’ve been amazing. the shrimp were truly jumbo no shell so you could eat the whole shrimp with out the mess. fries came with the and they were hand cut. best cut fries i’ve ever had and also came with 2 hush puppies and coleslaw. i usually toss my coleslaw cause it’s never good but this coleslaw was delicious. i will definitely be back. also service was great and the wait was exactly as quoted.

This was my first time ordering from this food truck. The young lady that took my order was nice. I ordered the shrimp basket which was supposed to come with fried shrimp, coleslaw, fries and hush puppies. After waiting about 15-20 minutes I inquired about how much longer the wait would be. The young lady told me 5 more minutes. It ended up being over a hour for the wait. I waited so long they ran out of coleslaw which I paid for as part of my meal. Everything was hot, however, it didn’t have any seasoning and tasted like they used old grease.

This is actually the first time Ive written a review for a place. I am not a hard person to satisfy. The crab fried bites were very mid at best. I couldnt hear the guy taking my order because he had headphones in. I asked what the market price was on the CrabLeg Bites and he said $25 -$30. I asked about a few other options then resorted back to the bites. They then proceeded to charge me $35 and didnt even get everything I was promised, no slaw lol!
Whole experience was hysterical how poor it was.
