The appetizer was fine, salad was good, dessert was ok. We both had the filet mignon and it was the worst filet I’ve ever had. It was overcooked (asked for medium) and so very salty. Usually you can cut filet with a butter knife, but not these. We asked for steak knives and the waitress made sure to tell us to be very careful because they were very sharp. Hilarious as my steak knife wouldn’t even get close to cutting through my steak. It came with cheesy mashed potatoes and asparagus, all very very salty. It was a good thing we had water glasses to help with all the salt, but unfortunately our waitress was MIA most of the dinner and our water glasses were empty frequently.
We expect a much better experience, especially when being forced to spend $75 per person. What a disappointment.
Our server, Stephanie, absolutely made the night. Her service was warm, attentive, and brought great recommendations for our table. What really stood out was that she showed the same level of care and professionalism to her younger guests as well.
Food came out quickly, prices felt very reasonable for a fancy steakhouse, and everything tasted fresh and intentional.
For our entrées, we had the pork chop and the braised beef with cheese tortellini ❤️—both were incredible. And because we couldn’t resist, we ended the night by sharing the caramel budino. So worth it! Highly recommend! We are excited for this area to have a this level of fine dining, it has been a long time coming
So far I’ve loved the tuna tartare and the pork chop the most of anything we’ve tried. The scallops dish is amazing, the burger is great, French dip is perfect… Seriously, nothing that isn’t good.
The service is above and beyond every time we go, exactly what it needs to be for this area. Prices are obviously a bit expensive but it’s a steakhouse and I hope you’d expect that after investigating the menu; I feel the portions and flavor are worth the price.
The service and staff were top notch. Felt like there was more staff than customers and the place was packed. Many managers, chefs, and others checking in and helping out. Awesome environment, great food, great location on the river. We are excited to try the expansive patio this summer!
The beef tartare was outstanding, and the Caesar salad was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The grass-fed ribeye was cooked perfectly with a beautiful crispy char, and the bleu cheese–infused butter add-on took it over the top.
For dessert, we opted for “liquid desserts” — a peanut butter old fashioned and a blackberry cobbler cocktail. Both were super tasty. I would order the exact same meal again without hesitation. It was that good.
Happy hour in the bar area was also very reasonably priced, and the bleu cheese–infused vodka martini was incredibly well balanced. We will absolutely be back!
Additional feedback – more butter with the bread, add crème brûlée to the dessert menu, not a huge fan of the pickled red onion on the wedge but would still order again, & the entryway doors need adjusting to make opening easier.
