Decided to give Detroit wing co a try because I seen a local foodie post 12 different meals he’s had this month and enjoyed they looked tasty so I thought why not ♂️ well the chicken sandwich was top notch great fast perfect fry and the bun was light and fluffy there ranch is also very good the only issue I had with this meal was the max and cheese bland flavorless cheese less noodles with a minuscule amount of wet cheese on the bottom of the bowl honestly worst max and cheese I’ve ever had so that kinda ruined the meal for me workers were super nice and place was very clean and organized

First time trying Detroit Wing Company. The quality of the wings themselves was very good and they were juicy. I couldn’t eat until about 30 minutes after picking up the food, and the wings were still very warm. For the sauces I tried the Firecracker and Creole Parmesan. Both were fine. If I had to pick one I would go with the Creole Parmesan, but I would probably try two different flavors if I ordered again. The ranches that came with it were the Spicy Ranch and Lemon Pepper Ranch. The ranches served here have a bolder tanginess that tastes more house made compared to the typical store style ranch. I am not a fan of any funkiness in ranch, but I would definitely recommend trying it if that is your thing. Lastly, I had the Truffle Parmesan fries, which were tasty.

I liked the BBQ wings, I ate them hot as soon as they came out. Staff was friendly. My boyfriend thought the Buffalo wings were just industry standard. The ranch and the blue cheese wasn’t any good though, and had a weird flavor to it. We won’t be returning.

DWC has got to be the single most frustratingly inconsistent chain restaurant in metro Detroit. When it’s good, it’s AMAZING, and when it’s bad, it’s McDonald’s-level quality or worse. I can’t tell if they’re constantly tinkering with recipes to cut costs, or if its just the store not making certain things the same way every time, but each time I order it’s a toss up whether I’m going to love it or hate it.
It was great when they first opened (before all the expansion), then turned mediocre when they started adding all the additional locations and I stopped ordering. Recently, I decided to give it a shot again and it was surprisingly great again, and then tonight we were sorely disappointed. Go figure.
The mac n cheese was dry, with barely enough cheese sauce to cover the noodles. The sauce it self was gritty in texture and flavorless, like there was no seasoning whatsoever. The wing sauces were also seemingly not as flavorful and the consistency just felt off compared to how it usually is. The wrap I ordered last time was HUGE and chalked full of chicken, today’s was small, not very substantial.
So, I guess we’re back to avoiding DWC again. Purely from a food quality perspective, the restaurant in its current form is sadly a shell of its former self.

This was my very first time trying DWC and let me tell you it didn’t disappoint. The Korean BBQ sauce is mmmm good and the lemon pepper on the fries added the Zing I needed for my taste buds. Ill definitely be back to visit them again.

I placed an online order and it was ready on time. I was going to order all flats but i didn’t wanna do too much, so imagine how bummed I was when I opened the package to see all drums for 2/4 flavors. I thought I was going to call and complain but everything was so good I literally could never. The girl working was nice, she had things packaged up really well and the order was hot and fresh. Loved the flavors. Loved the food. And the price was right. I liked the dry rubs better than the wet wings but not by a ton, all were very good. Will return. 10/10 anyone who says wing stop wings are better can’t be trusted. sides, maybe. but definitely not the bone-in wings.

We ordered from the Ferndale location for delivery, when it arrived we were missing frys. I called the store (because we ordered directly from DWC website and not a 3rd party). I was told that I had to talk to the app I ordered from. I told them that I ordered directly from the DWC website and I was told, yeah you have to talk to them. The only option they had in store was to credit me for the next time.
I tried to reach out to the delivery driver and got no response, there is also no way to contact them via the email I got with the confirmation, I don’t even know who delivered it to me.
I called back and was told “as I said before we can only refund it or credit it” I said to go ahead and refund it and they said ok we will and hung up.
I know that the 3rd party delivery service they use is not the stores problem, but I feel there being no option to help me in store when I ordered directly from DWC website is trash customer service. If I order again, I’ll order through a 3rd party app where I can actually get some assistance for items missing.
If my order was wrong on a regular night, be careful ordering for the big game tomorrow.
