Detroit Hibachi Co is not just good, it’s AMAZING! From the moment you walk in, you’re treated to a top-notch hibachi experience. The chefs are incredibly skilled and put on a fantastic show, but the real star is the food. The portions are unbelievably generous – you definitely get your money’s worth and might even have leftovers! Every dish is cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. If you go, definitely ask for Sam; he’s one of the best chefs there and will make your meal unforgettable. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on this place!

I have to be honest I see the appeal for some people, but my hibachi wasnt hibaching, I was disappointed but not to disappointed when I saw the price I knew it wasnt gone be all that, cheapest trio I ever seen, I asked if it was cooked with the yum yum sauce he said no, I said yall cook it with garlic butter he said yea so I was a little happy about that, now to my food I dont like sweet food so what ever they cooked it with I was disappointed I thought it wasnt going to be sweet when he said they cook it with garlic butter, dont taste like no garlic butter at all, paid 11 and something for extra meat, still wondering where the extra meat was, I didnt see no chicken in my chicken fried rice I paid a extra 4 dollars of, I thought cool they give you noodles with it, but I didnt anticipate the noodles being a box filler and barely getting any rice, they use noodles for weight and to fill the box, they put alot of vegetables that dont need to be in it, no eggs in rice this is a stir fry not hibachi, they food is not nasty I repeat it is not nasty personally I wasnt interested because I dont like sweet food and it was very sweet, I also dont like carrots im used to zucchini in my hibachi but squash was not a good match, if you want ginger salad like beni this is definitely not either just get the soup, and since nobody ever put enough garlic butter i paid for 3 extra this is like a boring grocery store garlic butter, dont taste like most restaurant garlic butter, so it isn’t really garlicky, I would say try it for yourself, but this is my opinion.

I was charging my car at the Tesla station nearby when a gentleman came up to me and handed me a flyer for Detroit Hibachi Co. What really struck me wasn’t just the flyer—it was his story. He told me he’s 40 days sober and out here every day going car to car, letting people know about this business.
I’ve never actually eaten here (yet), but that kind of dedication and the fact that this restaurant is supporting someone trying to turn their life around says a lot about their values. If they put even half that kind of care into their food and service, I know it’s going to be great.
They’ve earned my business, and I’ll definitely be coming in soon.

The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, & the wait time was about 15 minutes. I ordered the Chicken hibachi meal with fried rice, salad & no mushrooms or carrots. The carrots were still there, seemed like it was just a bag of frozen peas & carrots mixture. It was a very generous amount of food for $21.19, but it wasn’t that great at all. The noodles were overcooked & sticking together with a smoky flavor which was gross. There were about 4 slices of chicken which weren’t enough for the amount of noodles included. I couldn’t enjoy the rice because I had to keep picking out those little nasty squares of carrots. It’s a no for me but good luck with your business.

Didn’t know mushrooms came in the DHC Trio. I’m allergic. They said they can’t replace the order because it wasn’t on their end. It’s like you’re blaming the customer for not knowing about something.

So, I ordered two containers, which came to a whopping $63. That’s not even $63 worth of food, let alone two Kool-Aids!
The Caucasian lady at the front, who was taking my order, was incredibly rude. She insisted that I add ice to my drink, which was barely any drink in the cup because she had filled it with ice.
The only saving grace was the Kool-Aid.
I’m not sure if it was just a bad day for the cooks, but the food was a complete disaster. The steak was unseasoned and extremely chewy. The chicken was also unseasoned. And to top it off, they had added noodles to my hibachi bowl. The noodles were disgusting and gummy. The vegetables were very soggy. It’s like everything was premade the day before or hours before they boxed it up.
I had high hopes for this meal, but it was a complete letdown. The food looked like dog food, and I couldn’t help but feel disgusted.

Definitely one of the worst hibachis to eat in the city, asked for fried rice, which cost more because you have to pay to upgrade from white rice to fried rice, instead I had a box full of soggy ramen noodles,I paid almost 7 dollars for chicken on the side and they gave me 4 little strips of chicken, terrible food and terrible prices,I spent over 60 dollars for two meals, definitely wouldn’t recommend this place, not authentic and overpriced

Grand opening was on fire. It was busy . I purchased a trio and unfortunately, they gave me a steak ,only . I called them. They told me to come back up there with my receipt . and today , They gave me a full plate of the trio and it was absolutely delicious. Customer service was outstanding and I loved the way they handle things .
