I started with a grilled pineapple margarita. It was delish!! My appetizer was the seafood beignets. Very flavorful. My main coarse started with the lobster bisque. It was one of the best I have ever had. I have had plenty!! I had ordered the Paul’s swordfish N’awlins with rice and green beans. I did empty the plate of everything!

Will our server was amazing! The soft shell crab appetizer was soggy and less than any sort of taste. We didn’t complain but each took one bite and left it. The oysters were amazing and fresh as always! The last couple times we have been the food is definitely taking a turn downwards.

Came here with a small group in search of quality seafood and we were not disappointed. The menu offered a great variety, and we got to try several dishes. We ordered the salmon, tuna, and shrimp spaghetti, along with calamari and Jamaican jerk fish as appetizers. Every dish was flavorful and generously portioned.
Service was excellent, attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The staff really made the experience enjoyable. Also worth mentioning: the washrooms were spotless, which is always a good sign of a well-maintained establishment.
Highly recommended for anyone craving seafood done right.

First time coming to this establishment. Absolutely blown out of the water. Bartender Brandon was so attentive and polite. Best bartender we’ve had in a long time.

My husband took me here November 2024 for my Birthday, then again on my Birthday for 2025 and Both times our meals were TOP NOTCH! we left a great review and a great tip we had Oysters Rockefeller, Wagyu, Lobster bisque, lobster tail, Lobster mac n cheese. and both times the food was absolutely phenomenal. However we went back Saturday Feb 28th 2026 our service was AMAZING! probably the best we have ever had any place we have ever been to, but when it came to our food is was extremely underwhelming even down to the pop was disgusting. We def. will not be back.

Outstanding! We had the Tower for our appetizer, it was delicious! The warm rolls were so good as well. We literally loved everything from the clam chowder and salads and cole slaw to our various entrees of salmon, scallops and two kind of shrimp. We also had a cookie sundae and key lime pie for dessert…yum! April was our server and she was amazing, so kind and attentive.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like an elevated yet not pretentious experience and meal…five stars!

We visited here on a Friday night during lent and figured it would be packed but surprisingly it wasn’t. A reservation wasn’t really necessary but no complaints there. Service was excellent with April, who was very attentive and knowledgeable. The issues I have with this place is that there are no prices listed on their cocktail menu. Expect to pay $18 or more for a drink. This seems rather high compared to other places. Wine is rather expensive here as well. While our dinner was ok, the cost of the overall meal and drinks averaged $80 per person and it simply wasn’t exceptional enough for a price tag that high. When our group left we were in agreement that the food was kinda bland overall and that the value is simply not there. Unless there is a reduction in price or flavors improve, there is not much reason to go back. There are much better options at that price point close by.

We tried this place after driving by a number of times and having tried most of the other comparable restaurants in the area. This place is just a “3” for me. We ordered the DFH Combination appetizer. It was fair. The fish spread and crab cakes had little flavor and the smelt was very salty. My mocktail and my husband’s Old Fashion were tasty, but so overpriced. It took so long for our food to come out. Our waiter kept apologizing for our long wait. Others, who were seated after us got their food before us. We waited about 55 minutes for our dinner after ordering and nearly missed our theater performance, even after making reservations. We could have made it ourself in that time. The restaurant was very cold and I felt that I needed to keep my winter coat on. Not sure if we will be back, as this was definitely a very poor first impression. The food finally came and we had to have it boxed due to not having time to eat it before our show. The manager delivered it and did accommodate us for our wait.

Just wanted to give Detroit fish five stars! We’ve been there multiple times & always had a great experience. New Year’s Eve I accidentally made reservations at a different restaurant thinking it was the Detroit Fish House. we showed up and without saying a word they accommodated us for what I assume was already an overbooked evening. They never mentioned it when I’m sure they knew I made a mistake. I sincerely appreciated it and everything was wonderful.
