Blown away by the cake I just picked up!! I’ve had cakes from here before and loved them, but never ordered ahead for any type of customization. My mom doesn’t like to celebrate her birthday, so we’ve opted for a Halloween celebration instead. When I mentioned this over the phone, they asked if I’d like the cake to be Halloween themed. I thought little of it and assumed it would just be some cool writing, but when I picked it up I was blown away!! It looks phenomenal and I’m so excited to show her! Also, their pricing is unbeatable! Everyone’s in disbelief when I tell them how great their prices are!! The bakery is very clean and everyone who works there is always very kind and helpful. I’d recommend this bakery to anyone!

I purchased the petit fours for a dinner party and they were the star of the evening! cheesecake, each topped with 4 fresh blueberries; white mousse; crème puff topped with brûlée sugar round; fruit & lemon tarts. The family I was dining with used to have their own family bakery and they couldn’t stop gushing over how perfectly sized and delicious. I even received a text the next day that they are looking forward to the next time! The owner is always around and every woman behind the counter is kind, patient and knowledgeable. There are always homemade cookies available for sampling as well. 10/10 recommend

My friend and I were looking for a bakery open later. We were out shopping and the cashier recommended Desserts by Design. The reviews online were positive and indeed we were lucky to find this bakery. Everything we tried was delicious! Everything was fresh! One of the bakers met us at the counter and they were so friendly and welcoming. The prices are affordable and you will be able to purchase a variety for your money. You can get single pastries or whole cakes. This is definitely going to be on my list when I need to bring a dessert to an event. The buttercream is actually buttercream and not gritty or too sweet.

Charming shop and pleasant vibe. The ladies that waited on us were very nice and patient. I ordered a few different things, the carrot cake and vanilla with white chocolate were my favorites. Both were really good. My cupcakes were stale, like inedible. I did like the lemon filling in my tart but wasn’t necessarily a fan of the actual tart shell. Prices weren’t crazy either. Overall it was a good experience, I just wish there was more consistency with the products.

Love this place. We picked up our cake from Desserts by Design in Audubon. We ordered the Chocolate Delight which is a dense and moist chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting and we all loved it!! The bakery is in a very nice small town in Audubon. The owner/manager and staff are very nice and helpful. We also ordered a variety of cookies, $14/lb, they’re smaller sizes, so delicious that we can’t stop eating them, light and crispy melt in your mouth. We also highly recommend their cream cheese bars, blueberry crumb cake. We still have to try their pies and pound cakes.

Wow!!! Delicious desserts every. single. time we stop in!! This visit we got a chocolate brownie, apple tart, scone, and carrot cake. All were AMAZING! Good flavor, super moist, and taste delicious! The staff is super friendly, always helpful, and very patient when trying to decide what we’d like to get (since there are so many good choices..lol). Whenever we are in town we always like to pop in for some delicious treats!

Deserts by Design is the best!! No joke! I have to have a white cloud cake every year for my birthday. My husband got it for my birthday in 2016 and now it is tradition. Birthdays are not the same without it. They have cookies, pasties, and mini veries of their cakes to buy. But let’s be real, would you buy a mini version, or the regular version to have over a couple of days? Lol this bakery will not disappoint with anything you purchase.

DO NOT ORDER FROM ON HOLIDAYS!!! Child has a Holiday Birthday, curt when I ordered- which I forgave for Holiday stress. Went to pickup my PRE-PAID and Attendant made me wait in the 25min line where everyone was selecting their last minute treats. Finally my # was called “yay” and it was the owner, after she got my cake I said “maybe next year you can have a paid-pick up line” she said “it is what it is!” No apologies, no nothing. Just repeated several times out loud. Mean and terrible customer service. But the way, my family formerly owned a bakery. Shop local and support small businesses. But being a grinch because you are busy shouldn’t be directed twrd the customer 🙁
