Had late night dinner here since they are open late. Food was tasty. Server forgot to bring Hyderabadi Dum biryani even thought that’s the first item we order and he even repeated entire order before leaving our table. We didn’t make big deal since rest of the food tasted good. It did take sometime for food to arrive assuming because they were making it fresh. Food taste was great and felt freshly prepared.

The Pathar ka Gosht here is absolutely amazing! The meat is so tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.it melts in your mouth. The spices are balanced just right, giving it that authentic Hyderabadi taste. The ambiance and service are also excellent. Definitely one of the best places to enjoy real traditional flavors. Highly recommended!

If you are in the Schaumburg a western suburb of the windy city and looking for authentic hyderabadi food then desi tadka is the place to be,having grown up in hyderabad deccan this restaurant hyderabadi dum biryani,haleem,nihari and other authentic dishes are as if you are eating in hyderabad.The decor is impressive and has a warm cozy feeling and the service is great,as soon as we entered we were greeted and seated promptly.The server was responsive and checked on our group frequently.I Was surprised at the prices which are much lower than other restaurants nearby.

Desi Tadka is a true delight for anyone craving rich, flavorful Indian cuisine! The food is absolutely delicious — each dish is packed with authentic spices and cooked to perfection. From the appetizers to the main course, everything we ordered was mouthwatering.
The restaurant has a nice, cozy ambiance that adds to the dining experience, and the ample parking is a big plus — no stress about finding a spot!
The only drawback was that the air conditioning wasn’t working during our visit on a hot, humid day, which made it a bit uncomfortable to sit for too long. That said, the amazing food and overall service more than made up for it.
Definitely worth visiting — just maybe go on a cooler day or get takeout if the AC isn’t fixed yet!

Got take out, the food tastes like homemade Desi food. The dahi puri was a bit stale and soggy at the same time, probably bc they already poured some of the tamarind paani in there for us since we did take out, but still tasted pretty good. Gulab jamun was a bit smaller than expected for the price.

This place is a scam. The items don’t look anything like the photos. I ordered aloo gobhi and baingan bharta. Both are shown as dry preparations. What I got was two curries – same curry with different vegetables . The aloo gobhi has hardly any pieces of gobhi and green pepper was thrown in. Baingan bharta was worse. It was whole baingan in the curry.
This is just another cheap restaurant. Avoid!
