We recently visited some food trucks in Katy and this was one of them. We ordered masala dosa. Upon pickup, the bowl that the Sambhar was put in was of such cheap quality that half of the sambhar fell on my husband’s shirt when the lady just put it on the counter for pickup. She did not even offer to refill it. Poor service. We started to eat and found a hair in the sambhar. Got new one. Dosa tasted decent but the amount of filling was barely any (see pictures). Do not recommend.

Amazing service. She was a very nice lady who made sure we were well taken care of. The food was amazing and flavorful. We got the butter chicken and tikka masala, both were great!

We enjoyed our meal at Desi Flavors food truck. The food was very fresh and flavorful. We tried thr Paneer Biryani and it beat most restaurants in the area.
Pakoda was served piping hot and crispy and the Gobi Manchurian was delicious.

Desi Flavors in Katy offers a unique Indian street food experience straight from a food truck. The flavors were authentic and satisfying. I especially loved the onion pakoda—crispy, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. It’s a great spot for a casual bite with a desi twist. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something flavorful and different!

Absolutely loved this Indian truck! The food tastes genuinely home made, not watered down or rushed like so much street food can be. Ultra friendly service and huge portion sizes makes this place a huge win! Their fried rice/noodles are to die for. In fact their every dish is a signature dish. I had to go back multiple times to try them all!!!

Tried the veg dum biryani and chicken fried rice. The biryani was hot on top but cold inside—paneer the potatoes felt like they came straight from the fridge. It didn’t seem freshly made. Chicken fried rice tasted good, but the chicken wasn’t fresh. Understand it’s a food truck, but same-day cooking is expected. The atmosphere was very good with good seating in outdoor.

I got papri chaat from them. Total cost $26.
One serving was not even good for one person. Quantity was too less I bought for 3 people in my family and all 3 serving was only good for one person. Called restaurant and as per them this is what they serve. So they don’t care what customers thinks about quantity. Really disappointed… would not recommend anyone for chaats…

The food is tasty. We loved samosa chaat and gobu marchurian & chinese . Very close to authentic indian test. I got busy eating so took pictures after eating. They are also very polite and great customer service.
Atmoshphere is great if you like eating out instead of closed retaurent and specially they have canopy so can enjoy eating in rain as well.

Simply delicious home made food. The service was amazing. A lovely family and you can taste how much they love their food by how tasty it is. Asked for medium spice level and it was perfect. On spot flavors and great service. I’ll for sure be back!
