This is the only place in the entire USA which serves authentic style mandi, really loved it and enjoyed every bit of it. Also, their rumali roti is excellent, had it with kholapuri chicken curry which is just okay. Mandi is too expensive but worth the price, i wish they consider to reduce the price on mandi or atleast provide any drinks/desserts with that. Be prepared to wait for your order to be ready (this location is pretty busy).

Great Indian food. But looks like it’s always crowded. Also, if you are avoiding oily food, you may have less options.

I used to love this place so I drive long distances to go here. I ordered lamb curry platter Togo but after 20 minutes waiting I got tofu…. I already got home I won’t go back to do the exchange! Bad experience! Also lamb is more expensive than tofu!

I recently tried the Desi District Chicken Mandi and overall, I must say that it was a great experience. Although it was a little on the costly side, it tasted good. The chicken was cooked to perfection and was full of flavor. While it may not have had the exact traditional mandi flavor, it tasted like chicken pulao with cashews and kismis.

We had Mandi, Romali Roti, Mutton haleem, paneer butter masala, and punugulu that too they served it with red chutney. Being in the US, it is difficult to find the Indian taste, but this restaurant did a very good job in doing so.

Ambience is great but need to stand in a queue for at least 15 mins to order. Service is quick. I have ordered 2-piece mutton mandi which is easily sufficient for 2 people. I feel the cost is high. Food is good with juicy tender pieces. You can give it a try for sure

The food made me sick. I ordered chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken masala through Uber eats. It was a little spicy, but nothing to what I usually eat. The taste for both were a bit different and also sweet, and the rice was over-cooked and soggy. I tried not to assume it was them and ate it again the second night after I got over feeling sick the entire day. It was the only meal I had and I am feeling sick again this morning. Looks like someone else mentioned their place not being clean and another person mentioned getting sick.

Throughout my time in dallas, I have visited this place plenty of times. It’s almost become a go to place for snacks, biryani, pulav, and now Mandi . I feel chicken in the Mandi is just okay. Other than that I like everything they sell.

Spiced lamb burger (or) tandoori momo along with Masala chai has been my go to evening snacks at this place. I try to visit this restaurant atleast once a week in the evening after work, it certainly gave me a strong Indian vibe and whenever I visit desi district I forget that I am in Dallas and I reminded only when I see the price on the menu card.
